That's bad. But then, the problem was that those are still filtering a lot more than the competition (Brita). So, I decided to buy water lead test and check if I really needed to filter lead out of my water. Turns out lead isn't detectable in my water so I can continue to use Pure.I would recommend buying test for lead in water before considering to switch. Unfortunately there are no water lead test certified (not like for paint).
