Great if you're in the video and want to start the camera recording remotely, and also great to see channel sound levels if you are the musician, also the sound man, and also the camera man. Works exactly as I need it to.

This worked great and allowed us to control our Zoom LiveTrak L-20 mixer with an iPad. It works great. It is plug and play. You plug it into the mixer and then open the app on the iPad and the invitation to connect opens immediately. We have used it a few times and it has always connected easily. It allows my sound man to sit walk around and hear the sound and make adjustments as needed while still leaving the mixer board on the stage so that a "snake" is not needed. Overall, I am pleased with the Zoom mixer and this wireless dongle. I only wish that they would make the app for Android as well as iPad.

Have not used it yet with the H6 Studio, but I'm very familiar with Zoom's audio and video equipment. If you're a musician or video producer, Zoom knows what they're doing and for the price they're unbeatable.

I read all of the reviews indicating that there's not much point to buying a BTA-1 because the phone app just doesn't do much, but I had to find out for myself. My setup: Zoom H6 Studio iPhone App: Zoom Handy Control & Sync v1.02 Zoom BTA-1 My findings? You can start and stop recording and you can see the VU meters. That's it. That's something, but not much. I guess I'm glad I bought it because I had to find out for myself. But if you have access to the Zoom while recording then there's little reason to use it. If the Zoom is in a difficult-to-get-to position then it might be nice to have a way to start and stop recording remotely. But note that if it disconnects, you must get to the Zoom to put it back into connect mode in order to reconnect. It seems like a waste until they update the phone app to do more. On the Apple app store "Zoom Handy Control & Sync v1.02" has only 7 ratings for a score of 1.6 and only one of those 7 people bothered to write a review, and he said it was "pointless". Last update 1y ago. There are numerous other Zoom apps for other Zoom products, but for the H6 Studio that is what you get. Yes, I'm glad I got it because I needed to find out for myself, but after you buy it you'll probably say "meh"!

Initially, the Bluetooth connection is not established on the first attempt; however, after trying again, it connects and performs adequately but lacks stability. Occasional disconnections and a slight millisecond lag are observed. Overall, the performance is satisfactory, but it requires a software update for bug fixes. Additionally, having an offline mode for patching via the phone and then syncing to the device upon connection would enhance the user experience.

Wokrs well on my Ipad zoom app.. fast connections
