Bellemain Dish Drying Mat, Drying Matt Kitchen Counter, 17 x 24 Inch, Grey

We cannot live without these in our kitchen; they are a must have. They absorb water well, hold in place, last long, perfect size for our space, very convenient and perfect replacement for those bulky plastic holders. I am very happy I found these!

This mat does the trick it's great. Nice size washes beautifully and comes out of the dryer in perfect shape. I bought two of them and will be sticking with this brand if all stays the same. Good quality!

I have always enjoyed cooking for myself. I loved experimenting in the kitchen cooking up small portions of cuisines from different countries. But when retired and moved into a large city older apartment building, I stopped preparing any culinary specialties because meal preparation almost always required the use of lots of kitchenware, kitchen utensils, or cookware and bakeware bowl, etc. I have never minded washing dishes but washing them in very hard city water is quite a chore. I dreaded having to spend time cleaning, often scraping away, the persistent chalky white mineral deposits left behind by the hard water on my rubber and metal dish rack after I had washed and set dishes to dry. Retired now and on a fixed income, I could not afford to buy or install any water softening applications. A random search for solutions on Amazon brought up the Bellemain Dish Drying Mat for the Kitchen Counter and while my kitchen and counter are very small, I decided to give it a try. I had never purchased or used a drying mat before and was so pleased when my purchase arrived. This drying mat is very thick and very absorbent. I fold it over to dry a few dishes and open it up to drain more with my bigger meals. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it dries and love the fact that it has a reinforced tag to hang the mat for drying it out. This purchase was a success, and the rubber/metal dishrack has now been retired forever. Looking forward to searching for more experimental cuisine meals to prepare.

Size is great. Absorbs lots of liquid. That’s what I want it to do — but it’s really difficult to get it dry because it absorbs liquid so well! Guess I can live with that. Hope that the mats will fold easier as they get used more and more.

Dries quickly, is plush enough to be protective of dishes and countertop. It fit my color scheme.

I love this mat. It is absorbant and a good size. It also looks good on the counter. I use it every day and over time it gets dingy but for how much I use it I think it's very sturdy.
