I can see a smaller "puck" inside and two insulated wires that appear to be about 14 gauge. Have not tested, but bought multiple so I can take one apart to see what is inside. I intend to use these inside a metal storage cabinet that stores multiple solvents. Sticking one or two onto the underside of each shelf should be sufficient. Their effectiveness will be exponentially increased if the cabinet stays closed and is relatively airtight. Bottom Line: yes, highly recommended.
