The vintage carbon fiber black finish gives it a modern, sleek appearance, but the leather still feels soft and high quality in the hand. Right away it feels like something more expensive than its price tag suggests. Functionally, it’s laid out well. The two ID windows are surprisingly handy—I use one for my driver’s license and one for my hospital badge, which makes quick access simple without fumbling through cards. The 8 card slots plus extra hidden slots give plenty of room for everyday cards, and the divided bill pocket is a nice touch to keep cash or receipts organized. Out of the box, the slots were a little stiff, but after a few days of use the leather started to relax, making cards easier to slide in and out. The RFID-blocking feature adds peace of mind when traveling or in crowded areas. While I can’t personally test whether it blocks every type of scan, the included technology is designed to protect against the most common RFID frequencies used in credit cards and IDs.
