Farberware Build-A-Board 11 x 14 Inch Bamboo Cutting Board with Lid

I’m really happy with this bamboo charcuterie board. It looks beautiful when set up and has plenty of space for cheeses, meats, fruits, crackers, and other snacks. The bamboo gives it a nice, natural look that makes even a simple spread feel more put together. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, and the size is just right for entertaining or family gatherings. I’ve also used it for serving appetizers and snacks, so it’s pretty versatile. Overall, a great addition to my kitchen and a nice board to bring for my potlucks at work. Good quality for the price!

This board with the cover is perfect for making a charcuterie and taking it on the go. I have used it several times now and it’s so easy to create a board on this and transport it to our family gatherings. It’s a good middle size for a medium sized board. I love it and it looks so good!!

I bought this so I can make the charcuterie tray early and send it home with a family member after. I try not to have too many things like this on hand, you know, that require dedicated storage space and don't get used that often, but I decided this year I'd treat myself to fix those two issues. The big sticker on the bottom did indeed leave a sticky residue, after pulling off easily. It was stupid hard to remove. I finally used mineral oil, let it sit a while, then scrubbed with a 0000 steel wool, the sticky turned grey, then used the wool + detergent (Sal's) and hot water to scrub it all off. I got the single compartment bamboo so I wasn't limited by the given compartments, meant to get the acacia but whatever. Anyway, it looks nice, a standard bamboo tray, but has finished edges and a nice smoothness to it. It's the definition of a neutral serving piece, perfect for what it is. The lid is hard plastic, thicker than I expected but not too thick. Handles seem durable and effective, I didn't want one with a handle on the top to carry it, because those snap and then your food is everywhere. Annoyed I can't just buy a second one of these! The lid is usually the first thing to go, it cracks or snaps, but I'd have spent this much on one without a lid and probably gotten a less nicely finished one, so I'm happy with it. I would feel confident giving this as a gift to someone who could use it and has the space, or with a charcuterie book as a neutral party gift. It came packaged securely in a brown box without any branding, but it had branding pieces inside. Btw: Farberware went out of business decades ago, is now a "licensing" company that rents the Farberware name out to other businesses. So no reason to gamble on this one with the sticky bottom if you'd rather gamble on a no-name, it's all the same stuff. Good luck!

I love this board! It’s perfect to throw together some charcuterie for company! I took it on a quilting retreat and there were many compliments! You can just cover and return to the refrigerator! I love this!!

The board is really great but the lid wouldn't come off easily especially after the fridge. It takes minutes to open!!! I hate it in the morning when my kids get ready for school and I should be real quick with their sandwiches.

It was a nice hostess gift. Average size and easy locking handles to take away.

I bought this to use for a cheese tray at an outdoor party and it was perfect for that. The cover is tall enough to accommodate small ramekins of spreadable cheese and dishes of olives, etc. The latch system seems very secure but do note that you need to slide the latches straight out and away from the tray before trying to lift them up to remove the cover. It could be easy to break the latches if you try to lift them straight up without sliding out. I have the acacia and white one and love the look of it. I plan to use it not just for cheese and charcuterie but for muffins, cookies, tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, cake slices etc. almost anything i might want to take to a party or potluck.

The concept and use of this is great. It's nice to layout all the meat and cheese and have a cover and have this ready to go. However, I am terrified that if the cover gets bumped and knocked to the floor it will not survive as it does not seem resilient at all. The most annoying part is the gosh darn sticky label on the back. I am so annoyed with the sticky residue that was left behind. I have cleaned it with two cleaners (one being a goo gone type cleaner) and used a scraper and it is still sticky - a brand like this should do better!

I love this tray/charcuterie board. The lid locks, fits in the fridge, easy transportation and great for parties! I would purchase more of these and recommend to anyone. Excellent size and helps keep on a $30 dollar charcuterie board.

Way nicer looking than plastic, makes it easier to go from storage to presentation. Wood seems good quality.
