I was very pleased with the performance of this extension tube. It integrated seamlessly with my Lumix S5IIX and 50mm prime, maintaining quick and accurate autofocus. The resulting image quality is clean and impressive for such an affordable accessory. For photographers needing a macro option on the go without carrying another lens, this is incredibly convenient. However, the primary drawback is its physical construction. The choice of a lightweight, seemingly inexpensive plastic makes the product feel fragile. This brings its long-term durability and the stability of the lens mount into question. While it performs well now, I'm not confident it's built to last. It’s a great temporary solution, but I would be hesitant to trust it for heavy or frequent use.

It does exactly what other extension tubes do, but is more expensive and worse quality. I had a set of tubes from Mieke for Sony E mount, and they were about 25-30$ and they were great. These on the other hand, they’re cheap plastic, there is a lot of play in them as I focus, they feel almost loose on my Panasonic S5, it’s not great. They still work and I’ve gotten some great pictures, but they should be a lot better. You still get autofocus thankfully, and I’ve found with the 20-60mm Panasonic lens, I can still take great pictures of bugs and such. I just wish the build quality was significantly better.

De extras: bolsa protectora acojinada, con clip para colgar de la bolsa de la cámara, y tapas delantera y trasera. Como dice el título: muy buen maquinado y perfecta transmisión de la conexión entre el lente y la cámara, ambos anillos o los dos en conjunto. Ambos apilados permiten acercar un tele corto a solo milímetros del sujeto. De 35mm hacia atrás solo se puede usar uno de los dos anillos o casi se hará contacto con el frente del lente. La sujeción (montaje) es firme pero fácil de accionar y de liberar. El uso de anillos de extensión logran una calidad de imagen casi como de un verdadero macro y desde luego muy superior a un lente de aumento de +1 o +2 dioptrías, ni decir más. Siempre he quedado muy satisfecho con los artículos de la marca JJC, son, por lo general innovadores o copias perfectas del original y de muy buena calidad sin pagar precios de marca. En este caso, los recomiendo, de nuevo, ampliamente y sin reservas.
