This happened with two units. I returned the first one to Amazon for replacement. Sadly, the second one has the same problem. I have no choice but to return it for a refund. Too bad, because the boombox is functional and sounds pretty good.

I purchased this unit to replace a 20+ year old bedside one. I got the impression that it would be larger, my bad, as dimensions are clearly stated. It's a bit larger than the clock radios I grew up with, though this has neither a clock nor a wake-up function. Fine with me, I have a digital clock and cell phone for that purpose. Basically, this is a blue tooth speaker with built-in FM (with RDS display) and a CD player. I like the function buttons on top and in front for bedtime use as well as sleep timer choices and display light goes off when the unit is off. Great little bedside radio, just don't expect to use it at your next house party.

Perfect size, attractive and works perfectly. Purchased so my dogs have music during the day, love it! Buying another for the garage!

Excellent. My husband loved this gift and loves this gift. Has it set up in the garage where he works and was out front when he was planting the flower bed.

Ok so I bought this because my Bose just stopped working. So I didn't want to spend a lot of a cd player because saving up for another bose. This unit is alright. The sound is nothing like what I am use to. But for the price it will do until I can get what I truly want. It works plays cds, raido works. I haven't tried the Bluetooth so not sure about that. If your looking for some to play music Not to loud. Then this works. Personally I like my music hard and loud. But this isn't built for that. But its good for gentle sound nothing above level 14 then sound real distorted . Its a lot smaller then i thought it would be. But it does take batteries, so seeing how small size it would be a good beach or camping boombox
