Worth the money *by B***N on October 8, 2025* FYI: when you open this the box says “Tan AF”. I thought that another parent might like to know that. I kinda thought it was a little inappropriate for my daughter to see but oh well. I have been using this “Tan AF” spray tanning machine for about 3 months to spray my 14 year old before she competes in dance competitions. It has saved me a lot of money because I used to pay to have professional spray tans and the cost of one tan paid for this machine! I have never tried tanning myself so I cannot speak to the difficulty of that but it seems like it would be hard to get it even on many parts of your own body so I would recommend getting another person to spray you. I did use the solution that came with the machine one time and it was ok. Initially it looks green but the green washes off and the tan was pretty nice the next day. The solution that comes with the machine is a pretty small bottle, so got a different solution from another vendor and my daughter likes the color of that one better. There is definitely a learning curve to spray tanning. Here are some tips for using this machine: Use the middle setting (3-4), make up and down sweeps followed by side to side and don’t get too close to the body. Also prep is super important. Take a shower and shave a couple hours before tanning, no lotion, no deodorant and get completely dry.
