GROSS! BUT EFFECTIVE!
The first day I put this out, there were maybe two house flies, an added few the next day- but FOLLOWING? The sheer amount of bugs this thing attracts and catches is crazy! It’s small enough to leave out in the open, big enough to catch an overwhelming amount of bugs. It works for what it’s for, it’s easy to use, cartridge is just a quick disposal so it stays relatively clean. Definitely wear a good set of gloves if you’re squeamish, the quality of the trap is good enough that some bugs get stuck even while touching the edges. It’s also plain enough to just look like a regular centerpiece or just a nameless device if you feel embarrassed to have one out- but I think it’s pretty cool!

Smarter Than The Average Gnat
I have been using the standard Zevo traps for a while and they have been a life saver at getting rid of those pesky gnats that invade my home. However it seemed like these 2026 gnats have caught on to the game like they did with those little red apples. So I had to up my game and get this Max version. I set mine up near the kitchen sink. I like that even though it’s an open design the discs are relatively concealed so you don’t have to constantly look at all the gross bugs it’s collected. It’s definitely decreased the number of gnats flying around, but I think it’s harder to use Zevo in the daytime in general, so of course there’s been a few stragglers that I’ve had to strike down by hand, but not a number that makes me question the value of this device. I hope this can continue to be an effective weapon against gnats.

Excellent product! It works so well it's actually gross.
I had a massive fungus gnat problem. I used this (and eight of the regular Zevo plug-ins) to catch the straggling fungus gnats that made it through the copious amounts of fungus gnat killer I watered my 150+ indoor plants with for months. I have plants -- including a massive six-foot tall philodendron -- along a wall in my loft where there are no outlets because it's made of plexiglass. I used this with an extension cord to place it right by the philodendron, which was infested. I wish I'd have taken photos of the sticky strips when I removed them. They were foul. There was barely any open space free of dead gnats. The new strips (as well as the ones in the eight plug-ins, which were also covered in rotting gnats) have been in place for three days and so far, they've caught exactly zero gnats, which means I finally, Finally, FINALLY got rid of them. I could cry after dealing with this for over a year. I used two different fungus gnat insecticides every single time I watered for six solid months. (I had first used one for several months, then the other for several months. Each one on its own cut down on the gnat population, but never eliminated the problem. Both at once was the key.) Zevos alone will not take care of your gnat problem if it's out of hand. But if you're working on killing them off with insecticides or you just have a small handful, these are must-haves. As a bonus, they also catch large houseflies. Also, do NOT buy the generic refills. They simply do not work. I bought a huge 24-pack of off-brand refills and they remained empty during the worst of my infestation. The company kindly sent me a replacement pack, suggesting the first one was defective. After trying those, it became apparent they are simply not nearly as sticky as the Zevo brand. It's a bummer because the refills are $$$$$, but I guess you get what you pay for.

It's ok, not bad, could be better....
It's better than nothing, or an ugly fly strip hanging from the ceiling. Blue light is bright, but coming from outside a house fly or 2 might get in. But I have not ever seen a fly in the trap. But smaller fruit Flys, gnats, it's pretty good. I really would give this a 3.5 Star Rating, cause to me/us (family) no House Flys caught, just tiny Flys and it's kinda expensive and the Max uses 2 strips VS the wall plug in uses 1 strip....

They work, but they’re expensive
I have had a moth problem for a year, a wheat moth and it caught some, but since I bought six of them have them in different rooms and then my living room have three it’s not catching as many as I would thought I’m still buying spray

Easy, Effective, and Great for Keeping Flying Bugs Under Control
I’ve placed these Zevo Flying Insect Traps in both of my garages, and they’ve done a great job catching gnats, flies, and other annoying flying insects before they become a bigger problem and enter my house. We live in a newer construction neighborhood, so there always seem to be plenty of bugs around. These traps have definitely helped reduce the number of flying insects I see inside. I also appreciate that they don’t have any noticeable odor and don’t bother my dogs. The refill cartridges are quick and easy to replace, so keeping the traps working takes very little effort. Overall, these traps are convenient, effective, and something I’ll continue to use in my home.

Zero works great on flies!
I am very happy with this device. I have been using a "saferbrand" for a couple years and it only caught little gnats. I got this one on a cord and 2 plug-ins from costco, and I have caught more flies in one week than in the whole two prior years. I had it next to the door as suggested to catch the flies as they fly in, but that didnt work. I ended up putting it next to the sink where the flies like to congregate and that worked great. I have the plug-ins flanking the stove. The Zevo is more more expensive, but definitely worth the money.

Disappointed by the “2 Refills” Wording and So Far, Not Very Effective
I was thrilled when this arrived because I’ve had some annoying flies this year, and the fly swatter just wasn’t cutting it. After seeing commercials for Zevo and reading reviews, I decided to give it a try. I went back and forth between the version that plugs directly into the wall and this countertop MAX model, ultimately deciding the countertop version would work better for my needs. One of the things that influenced my decision was the listing stating that it includes “2 refills.” I like having extras on hand, so I assumed I would have replacements ready after using the ones that came with the unit. My first disappointment came when I opened the package and found only two adhesive cartridges, which are both needed inside the device for its initial use. I actually thought something was missing. After going back and reading the listing more carefully, I realized the two adhesive cartridges required to operate the unit are what they are calling the “2 refills.” Technically the description does say one base and two cartridges, but I found the use of the word “refills” confusing. To me, a refill is something extra that you use after the original supply is finished, not the pieces needed to get started. As for performance, after two days of continuous use I haven’t caught any of the larger flies that have been bothering me. So far, it has only caught two very small flies. I do like that it is easy to set up, has a long cord that gives me some flexibility in where I place it, and doesn’t use insecticides. The blue light is quite bright, as you can see in my photos, so placement may also be something to consider. Another thing I would have liked, especially at this price point, is a rechargeable battery. Since this is designed as a countertop unit, being rechargeable would make it much more convenient and allow me to place it exactly where the flies are gathering without needing to be within five feet of an outlet. That would have made this model much more appealing to me. I’m going to continue using it to see whether the results improve, but based on my first couple of days with it, I’m disappointed. Considering the price, the need to purchase additional adhesive cartridges once these two are used, and the fact that it must remain plugged in, I don’t feel I’m getting the value or effectiveness I expected.

Works!
It has worked really well, caught small and large flies and moths. I think they are primarily attracted at night once other lights are off, perhaps people who said it didn’t work placed it in areas with other light sources on at all times. Relatively expensive but worth it.

Don’t buy
Don’t buy this. It’s been on for over a week and has so far caught 3 small moths and a daddy ong legs. Flies ignore it completely. Complete waste of money.
