Il est très silencieux a cette vitesse. Very glad I did, as it can keep temperatures below thermal throttling levels while being far, far quieter than the original fan. At idle or while doing basic tasks like browsing or office work, it’s all but silent - certainly quieter than a HDD. And during intensive work like encoding or gaming, it’s about 50% quieter.
