VITURE USB- C XR Charging Adapter Pro, for iPhone 15 & Later

Got this VITURE USB-C XR adapter about 10 days ago to pair with my iPhone 16 pro max and Luma Ultra glasses, and I’m kicking myself for not buying it sooner. Right when the magnetic tip clicks on, everything upgrades: the screen instantly locks in 3DoF so I can turn my head freely without the picture drifting, multi-window mode is buttery smooth, and 3D movies finally feel like real 3D instead of a gimmick. The colors pop harder and the edges are cleaner—no more weird cropping or compression like I had with regular cables. Connection has been 100% reliable—no random disconnects, no wobble, even when I’m on the couch flipping positions or walking to the kitchen. The short cable is flexible and stays out of the way. Compatibility is spot-on with my iPhone 16 pro max. Suddenly I have all the premium features people with Android or the neckband get: full SpaceWalker, proper 360° video support, and perfect side-by-side screens for work or gaming. The real hero is the passthrough charging—I streamed a 4-hour playlist yesterday and my phone went from 45% to 92% while the glasses were running. Zero heat, zero battery anxiety. Tiny dongle, massive difference. If you’re running VITURE glasses on a non-Pro iPhone, just get this. It makes the whole setup feel finished and professional. Couldn’t be happier!

April, 2026 Update: As consistent with the other reports here, Viture contacted me and offered a full refund, which I declined, because they also offered to replace the original glasses. The original glasses (which worked fine without the adapter) or the original cable may have been the problem. With replacement glasses —replaced hassle-free by Viture— everything works properly. I’m extremely happy with how the company deals with [perceived] problems, and this experience guarantees that I’ll be a long-term customer. ________________ Ordered two of these from Amazon. Results, discussed in this review were identical. While connecting to a iPhone 16 Pro Max using the OEM Apple charger & cable, the adapter introduced a bunch of horizontal “noise” lines of varying thickness and occasional static pops in the speakers of the glasses before disconnecting after not more than 6 seconds each time. The problem was slightly mitigated (i.e., longer period of connectivity before the connection was dropped) using an aftermarket 30W or 50W charger. No difference when using different cables. Ultimately, this adapter renders the glasses useless. Finally, I tested on the latest generation of iPad Pro, and the problem was significantly reduced, but I observed random white dots throughout the screen. I have returned both adapters.

The packaging and product both display a Bluetooth logo, yet neither the online documentation nor the included manual ever explain why. There is zero mention of what Bluetooth is used for, audio, control, or video feed management, leaving buyers completely in the dark. Functionally, this adapter is extremely unreliable. The pigtail strain relief is poorly designed, two cables pull on the smaller one, constantly loosening the connection. This results in one lens showing static while the other displays video, making the experience almost unusable. Head tracking and 3D rendering are choppy and inconsistent. One eye can drift to a different viewpoint or even show a separate menu page. Even after a firmware update, tracking remains unstable. What makes this even more disappointing is the hardware lock. You have to buy this adapter just to unlock proper head tracking and full 3D functionality. After paying so much for the Pro version, this feels like an unnecessary paywall for basic features that should already be included. For a $60 accessory, this feels unfinished and poorly engineered. The design flaw alone means it will likely fail even if it is not technically defective. This adapter needs a complete mechanical redesign and clear Bluetooth documentation before it deserves another look.

When it works it’s ok, I don’t know if the charger came with a defective issue but my iPhone 16 Pro Max was detecting it and not detecting it from time to time. Also on iOS it’s necessary to have this adapter in combination with the trash spacewalker app in order to have 3DoF.

Works. The 3dof stability on iPhone is not the best but somewhat works. If I turn off head tracking then it’s good enough to charge the iPhone and use glasses simultaneously.

I don’t often leave a review. First, I want to give credit to the customer service department for Viture. I initially received the wrong item. The company’s customer service was extremely responsive. I reveived communication within hours of identifying the issue, and the issue corrected within a few days. I was impressed by their process. For the product itself, it does what it claims. It provides 3DoF (via Spacewalker) and allows for the pass through charging. Huge plus for the use of a set of Viture glasses with an iPhone. This is going to make traveling for work much more enjoyable!

Just okay. I experienced several connectivity issues with adapter. **UPDATED** The company was gracious enough to send me a pair of replacement Viture Pro XR Glasses, which work flawlessly. Upgrading review from 3 to 5 stars.

I never realised how much I needed this tiny adaptor until it turned up. About the size of a matchbox, it clicks into the iPhone 17’s USB-C socket and quietly takes on two tasks: passing razor-sharp video to the VITURE XR glasses, and keeping the phone topped up at the same time. Head tracking, spatial 3D, multiscreen, all the clever elements appear the instant the blue LED glows, and I have yet to notice so much as a whisper of lag. The build feels properly robust. The connector sits firm and will not budge, even when my five-year-old gives the cable an enthusiastic tug. Heat is kept well under control, and every 30 W charger I own has worked happily through the passthrough port. A quick nod as well to the leaflet in the box: it is clear, well laid out, and printed large enough for me to read without hunting for my glasses. Reliable performance, tidy design and the freedom to wander round the sitting room without a low-battery warning make this an effortless five-star product.
