Treat Love & Color Nail Polish For Normal to Dry/Brittle Nails, Work For The Glow, 0.46 fl. oz.

Love, love, love this color - I now have three of the Treat & Love polishes and they do seem to help my nails be stronger. This color - Tonal Taupe - is my favorite so far. It is a frosted pinky taupe color. The others are Mint Condition and Tinted Love. All three are nice colors - Tinted Love is a very pale lightly frosted pink and Mint Condition is a plain cream base. I have ordered two more colors and will wear them intermittently between "real" polishes.

Love this polish but it’s hard to find

I bought “on the mauve” which is a full coverage gray w/soft purple undertones and I also bought “time to unwind” which is an iridescent dark gray (kind of reminds me of my favorite regular nail color from Essie, for the twill of it). I’m givinh these strengthening polishes 4 stars — mainly because it chips off so easily and I have to repaint in 2-3 days. However, I do notice a difference. I never used to paint my nails, they were always strong, thick and healthy... but then I started getting in to gel nails thanks to my roommate who offered to do my nails one night lol... but if you’ve ever had gel nails then you know what a pain it is to get off... my nails became damaged and paper thin... practically bending and splitting from the amount of filing and stripping. I wanted to find a solution to heal my nails but also cover up all the scratches from the filing and how damaged they looked so I came across these Essie polishes. Just keep in mind, like with any type of skin care... you won’t see overnight results but I have seen a significant difference... I have the polish on now (bought it a week and a half ago, I’ve painted my nails twice and the nail itself isn’t as bendable. I also do not recommend putting on a clear top coat unless it’s also made for nail strengthening, otherwise you’re defeating the purpose of these polishes.

The Essie treatment polish goes on similar to regular Essie only it stays on for days - I'm pretty sure it's at least a week if not longer. I have this color on now and it's been on for10 days and looks great. No chips etc. I can't say that my nails themselves have improved any but the damage to them is caused by some awful medication I have to take. I'm just grateful that I found a polish that will stay on. I have about 7 colors so far. I haven't really found a big selection. I'd call Work For The Glow a semi-sheer so you'll probably need 3 coats to make it opaque. I've tried it over white and pink and it does add a little more oomph if you're feeling adventurous.

Very nice nail polish quality, looked metallic lavender online but actually a very dark cement grey. Research your colors! Not the sellers fault USPS took over two weeks to arrive, so be prepared to wait. Otherwise, this polish is fantastic.

Is a nice color but really light, you need to do it like 3 times until you get the pink that they show in the picture, peel comes out very easily, for me didn’t work, i bought the whole treatment and is not working

I have tried various gal/shellacs in the past. They were great for 2 to 3 weeks , until the nails grew out enough to leave a bare edge at the base of the nail. The problems start when you try to remove them. It requires a combination of acetone and/or scraping/filing that leaves lasting damage to the nails. That's where this product comes in. I apply it once every 1-2 weeks. It adds a little shine and helps hide the age lines in my nails. Unlike other nail strengthening products I have tried it doesn't make them brittle.

I bought this because I used the pink tinted Hard to Resist but it looks to be discontinued. I purchased color Work for the Glow. It's a shimmery light pink. This polish says 1 step strength and color formula. Sure it's one step that you have to do 4-5 times if you want decent coverage. Then the top coat. I do nail stamping so there is an additional two top coats plus the white stamping polish. It's rather thick but I applied it in thin layers allowing dry time between each one. I do my nail clean up in the shower with a nail brush so I'll update to show how it holds up for that along with how long it lasts without chips. I tend to go a week between polish changes.

I received a bottle of Essie Treat Love and Color polish in Loving Hue for free to review on behalf of Chick Advisor. I tested out the product and have fallen in love with this new polish. The formula replaces the need for a base coat and top coat, meaning it only takes two quick coats of polish to create the perfect manicure. This means the polish cures more quickly and, incredibly, it still lasts as long as a standard polish. I chose the Loving Hue shade, which is a pale pink with shimmer. I love that the shimmer is present but subtle and not sparkly. It's the perfect colour to celebrate the return of Spring, even if that return is being sadly delayed.

This is the best nail varnish ever. It never chips! You can just touch the colour up with a new coat to keep it fresh. And my nails have never been si strong, long and healthy.

Ich hatte von Essie einen besseren Lack erwartet. Auf dem Verkaufsbild wirkt der Lack natürlich und zart und durchschimmernd. Er ist aber in der Realität wie rosa gefärbtes Tippex auf den Nägeln und auch fürchterlich aufzutragen. Für mich nicht zu gebrauchen.
