Simple and well written

As a beginner, I needed some help understanding Quickbooks! This book has been great and I feel better prepared to tackle my new job!

The author gives good, simple descriptions of the various documents used throughout the accounting process (e.g., invoices and purchase orders) and of how similar documents actually differ (e.g., a purchase order is used for items being bought on credit vs. a check is used to pay for an item immediately). I was hoping for a detailed explanation of the bank account reconciliation process and of the preferences that relate to that task, but I didn't find that in this book. There's a book that gives much more detailed descriptions of almost everything, compared to this book: "QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2024 [for Beginners]," by Adeline Blake.

Very user-friendly. Helpful in updating my current QB software.

Would help to have an index and maybe some more screen shots. Good news it is indeed helpful.
