Positives: Very flexible, easy to lay, requires fewer connectors than stiffer pipes Versatile, takes most connectors and probably most sprinklers or drippers Would probably work well as normal hose pipe, due to flexibility Good price Negatives: PVC is generally more toxic than LDPE Full review: As other reviewers have pointed out, this is much like a standard garden hose in black. But it's more flexible than either the cheap, green (horrible) kind, or the more expensive, reinforced type, even if described as "flexible". It's flexible enough to lay in quite tight circles, so you probably don't need connectors to change direction when laying. While this is a benefit, compared to stiffer LDPE pipe, it also means it's very probably PVC, which could leach toxic chemicals into your garden and plants. I've read that PVC can cause issues for plants, as well humans eating them. I use PVC, though, as 4 mm irrigation tubing seems to all be PVC, as are garden hoses, so have still given 5 stars, although in my view, it would be desirable for manufacturer to address this issue, or at least declare what it's made from. It's pretty universal for connectors: you can use barbed connectors, although you'll likely need to soften it in hot water for easy insertion, Gardena's 13 mm easy-fit connectors, which can be inserted without using hot water (tested these), normal hose pipe connectors and obviously, Hozelock's easy drip components. You could probably make holes with a punch and insert any sprinklers or drippers intended to go directly into 13 mm pipe, but didn't test this. So it's versatile for irrigation purposes and would probably serve well as a normal garden hose - while not anti-kink, I've found flexible hoses better than "anti-kink" hoses, and this is very flexible and should be durable as intended for irrigation.. The price is also good for 20 m. Not a great fan of Hozelock based on previous experience, but would recommend, bearing in mind potential issues with PVC.

Perfect new flexible tube for irrigation system. It is good kink resistant, no leakage, fit is as you’d expect, material is good quality, and good value for money. Highly recommend.

So much better than the old more rigid type of hozelock irrigation system hose. Easier to use and fits all existing hozelock fittings

Really strong and robust. I used as a black hosepipe and it was perfect. Feels very durable and will last a long time.

Does the job and easy to fit the accessories. I always put the cut end in a mug of hot water before pushing in the fittings

Sick of hoses that tear, crack and generally don’t last at all. This is super strong and doesn’t link when hanging. Has decent weight and attached to existing connectors

Do not our use this, thinking it works with the microdrippers system. The ad is wrong If you use it as a mainline it will fail to hold drippers and will leak, and drippers will come out. Completely useless.

il tubo una volta srotolato tende a diventare inaspettatamente rettilineo da solo, cosa utilissima per servire una prosa con gli ugelli pari marca. si posizionano nel punto desiderato, si incastrano come previsto essendo apribili in modo da circondare perfettamente il tubo e fissarsi ad esso con un semplice clack, si pigia un piccolo bottoncino giallo che sblocca lo spillo che con una comoda vite penetra il tubo intercettando l'acqua al suo interno. poi si può regolare il flusso di acqua da fare fuoriuscire nel goccia a goccia, e infine in caso di otturazione, l'ugello si svita nella sua stessa parte terminale permettendo la sua pulizia (mi riferisco ai GOTERO UNIVERSAL della Hozeloch stessa. io lo ho trovato un prodotto eccellente
