I love this popcorn maker. We got the 2.5oz one. It doesn't make a whole lot of popcorn at once but I don't mind doing multiple batches just to keep them fresh and warm. Also wanted to clarify some previous reviews based on my experience: 1. The instructions are pretty clear to me. See pic uploaded. It took me less than 30 minutes to assemble. It also has pretty clear cleaning instructions. 2. I followed the portion instructions and did the first batch and it turned out pretty good. Almost all kennels popped and the kettle was pretty clean afterwards. Now I do think it's easier to maneuver this unit if you have small hands. And it would be easier to clean as well. Not saying big hands can't operate this unit (my husband did it without problems). It is just easier with small hands.

This product was purchased for our teachers classroom. It’s been a fun addition. It works well and efficiently and very quickly and definitely worth the money as a teacher doesn’t help to have things that don’t work well as time is everything in the classroom. This product takes that worry away.

Great! Works great no problem with it. I just wish there was something that would pick up the kernels at the bottom because every time you use it is hard to pick all the kernels out of the side. It's also kind of hard to clean because you have to pull the whole thing apart in the middle, unplug it, etc..

This popcorn machine is so cute. It looks amazing in our break room. I do wish I would have purchased the one that is slightly larger. I don't feel this one holds/ makes enough popcorn. It has storage underneath, which is nice I can put everything underneath it. It works great. It does get messy. You have to clean it really well after each use. It pops great, but again not a lot of space. Get the bigger one.

In photos, this popcorn maker looks great. I love the nostalgic Coca-Cola signs, which is probably why I bought it. The reality, however, is far different. For one thing, the machine is difficult to assemble, and the directions are poor. I like the fact that it has wheels, which mean I can easily move it to any part of the room. However, when I looked at the wheels, I saw they were made of cheap plastic. I wouldn't call them "wheels" at all. I don't imagine they will last very long. So after all this frustration, I finally tried to make popcorn. When I turned on the machine, I noticed that the popcorn maker was moving very slowly, far slower than any maker I have ever seen. I kept waiting for something to happen, but it never did. After about 20 minutes, I would say that 10% of the kernels popped, and it tasted awful! If I were you, I would look elsewhere.

We absolutely love this popcorn machine!!! We have it in our movie area, which creates such a vibe. We ordered the Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn kernels and butter. The taste is amazing and it’s real simple to use. Now if you want your popcorn buttery like I do I suggest that you use 3 or 4 spoonfuls of the butter oil. Just using one will not be good enough. The popcorn is fluffy , hot, and taste just like movie theater popcorn. You can even add your own type of seasoning once it’s done. We tried the Garlic Parmesan and it tasted amazing. Now when you clean it I do suggest taking the top part off as well as the mechanism for the kernels to make it easier to clean. Then once you’re done put everything back on and you’re good to go again. Some kernels did pop out but I had more popcorn than kernels so we were good. You won’t be disappointed.

Oil splatters, unpopped kernels, and small crevices make thorough cleaning time-consuming. For many, this results in the machine becoming more of a decorative piece than a regular appliance. 2. Dust Collector When Not in Use: Because of the cleaning hassle, it’s easy to let this machine sit unused. It looks great, but it collects dust quickly when not in active use, especially if you’re not popping corn regularly. I’m giving this machine two stars because if you’ve never owned a proper kettle corn machine, you won’t be be able to compare quality and you may just think that this is how kettle corn is supposed to taste. Save your money and purchase a Klarstein or a Cooks Professional counter top kettle corn maker. I purchased both of these for my holiday properties. They’re half the price and far superior. I purchased the Nostalgia machine for my own home. What a disappointment. Let’s start with the design flaws of this machine. 1. There is only one switch which powers both the light and the kettle. Bad move, folks! Most machines have one switch specifically for the kettle and a second switch for the light which acts as a heat lamp and keeps your popped corn warm within the machine. It also looks great with the light on. 2. There aren’t any vents in the glass panels causing your popcorn to become steamed and stale if you don’t remove it all immediately. 3. As mentioned in other reviews the unpopped kernels fly out in masses. The spinner in the kettle does in fact get jammed so you are forced to turn the kettle off midway, reach in with a wooden spoon and attempt to carefully unjam it. You will have burned bits whether you like or not. How many depends on how much of a maverick you are. 4. Do your research and you’ll notice that most home kettle corn machines have a handle on the outside of the machine which allows you to tip the popped corn into the base. The Nostalgia machine has the handle on the inside. The machine is too small for this. 5. Yay! You’ll need to buy a converter/adapter. This machine comes with an American plug only. Add another £40 to the cost of this investment. Other machines include an adapter with a built-in converter and they are much less expensive. The Nostalgia is a nice looking decorative popcorn maker but I will be ordering a Klarstein again for my home. If I decide I really want a portable base for it, I’ll order that separately. It will still be half the price of what I paid for the Nostalgia machine. If anyone from Nostalgia reads this, make some adjustments and this product will be on par with the others. If I hadn’t used it already I would return it.
