Hydrochloric Acid Solution, 2M, 500mL - The Curated Chemical Collection

Is exactly what the product is. At 2M for 500ml it may not seem that strong. I diluted the solution to 1 part and 9 parts water to break down solder components and it does the job well.

I looked up a fairly common combination (at least for what I was using this for, copper-clad circuit board etching) of Hydrogen peroxide and this stuff, Hydrochloric acid, online that was just WICKED AWESOME! I believe it was 10% peroxide to 90% this stuff.. WOW! I warmed the mix up just a little in the microwave, slid my copper-clad board in, and was AMAZED! This stuff went to WORK! I had my CLEAN, paths all crisp and CLEAR, circuit board etched in UNDER 5 MINUTES! Awesome! I don’t know if it’s the president or EPA or what that makes buying chemicals like this so costly, but this stuff was WORTH IT!

This is approx 4% strength so it was ideal for my use as an activator to make chlorine dioxide from sodium chlorite. Pure lab grade so no worries there concerning unknown contaminants.

Got the job done for several experiments. Good quality.

Good for cleaning grout and correcting the PH on well water. PH here is 8-9, extremely hard water.

Sometimes I feel like this is a little too diluted. But I use it to clean my marine. Sediment fossils.

Pretty sure this has basically no acid in it. I've gotten it on my skin and let it set for hours without so much as it causing a itch. Would rate zero stars if possible.
