![Bottom Box Set [DVD]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Y4H5ZHW4L.jpg)

Collected live shows based on the popular TV series written by and starring Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson, bundled with the feature length film. Edmondson and Mayall play Richard and Eddie Hitler - a perpetually optimistic dimwit, and a cheerfully violent dipsomaniac, respectively. The two cohabit a grim world of constant fighting and haplessness but appear blissfully unaware that they are in any way abnormal and instead choose to believe the rest of the world is inhabited by thick losers. Titles included: 'Bottom Live - The Stage Show' (1993), 'Bottom - The Big Number 2 Tour' (1995), 'Bottom 3 - Hooligan's Island' (1997), 'Bottom Live 2001 - An Arse Oddity' (2001), 'Bottom Live 2003 - Weapons Grade Y-Fronts Tour' (2003), 'Best Of Bottom Live'1999), and the feature film 'Guest House Paradiso'(1999). Review: Unbelievable - I first saw Bottom years ago on a kids channel. Needless to say it was edited. A few months ago I got the Bottom box set for Valentine's Day. Yes, I asked for it. After seeing some of the outtakes of the live shows online I HAD to buy them. I live in Canada and luckily I have a region free dvd player so I could watch it. I've never laughed so hard in my life. I've been a fan of Edmonson and Mayall for years and this just cemented my love for both of them. I can't believe how brilliant they are to be able to carry half a live show with nothing more than a metal dome as the background! It boggles my mind. Richie's double entendres are hilarious and I crack up every time Eddie wobbles his head around looking shocked. The movie Guest House Paradiso was little hit and miss but it was great to see Simon Pegg in there. Oooh, er! Review: Great stuff! - Saw almost all of these live apart from the last one. Loved every minute of it! So funny. Would never be able to do comedy like this anymore with the super soft, over sensitive snowflake generation we have now. Great Comedy!!!!

Entertaining, and that's all that counts...right?
I've been a huge fan of Rik and Ade for along time now and this dvd simply didn't disappoint, all there live shows AND the sub-par film all in one pretty box-set. Although not as "Abstract" as Vic and Bob i always use them as a comparison to people who aren't quite sure about if they'd enjoy the likes of Bottom, The Young ones and Filthy Rich And Cat-flap. These 2 (Like Vic and Bob) bounce off each other so well, and although even some of there "mistakes" seem forced it's still side splitting-ly funny to the point where i cried at certain parts. All in all ANY fan of "somewhat surreal" comedy and just like the relationship between these 2 comedians/the way they work together, It's definitely worth a purchase. 5 stars.

It's ugly, disgusting, stupid and plain fun. Love it.
Finally I get to watch the missed year of Bottom Live. I can't really remember the amount of times that we have watched Bottom Live in my basement with a collection of beers and good mates. It's not for everyone but It sure tickles my taste.

Bottoms up!
Funniest DVD box set you could ever get. Rik and Ade can say much more naughty stuff in the Bottom Tours without the BBC constantly on their backs and the storylines are far more gross than any of the telvevised episodes, a must buy! at a great value!
