Although the two baskets are soft and buttery, make no mistake, the felt woven containers are durable and able to hold heavier objects. In addition, the handles are securely stitched to the containers’ sides, and I predict they will stay that way - even if the handles are responsible for carrying a heavier load. There is a well sewn fold over seam around the entire top which adds to the stability and will prevent any fraying. The handles are securely attached and sturdy. The box-bags have a flat bottom and stand up on their own. They are a great size/height for toddler to play with - 11 mo old is able to reach inside without knocking it over.
