Installed on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler JKU. Pretty solid construction and good looking. Light weight but sturdy when in use. The missing instructions is not an issue at all. You should be at least average with hand tools to install this table. I didn’t use the one page provided cut outs, put it together using the advertised picture and then line it up where you want it on your tailgate. Helps to have someone hold it while you mark your holes. Drill one at a time and dry fit it as you go. The only thing difficult is the Nutserts you will need to install. I purchase a Nutsert tool on Amazon. If you still need instructions go to Quadratec on line and look up Tailgate tables and open the Rough Country table PDF instructions, this is just like it. I do recommend this table.

It's a good table. I had nothing good to say about Chinese engineering while trying to line up the bottom two mounting bolts. May have said a naughty word or two.

UPDATE..... Doesn't fit my 2012 Jeep Wrangler........... I can't wait to install this on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I searched for sometime to find the nicest one and this fits the bill. It is well made, sturdy and I love the design. I'm hoping the install will be easy. I love the two shelves and the cup holders can also be used to put a bottle of wine up through the hole so it doesn't tip over. What a great idea when going off road and you want to open your tail gate for a cold drink, beer, wine, cocktail and/or a snack.

If I hadn't read the previous reviews I would have been stuck. Looks great post install, but ZERO instructions come with this product which is ridiculous. No Youtube install video either... Per the other reviews, this does require drilling four holes into the plastic panel that protects the swing gate. I also used a 7/16 drill bit but had to make the holes a little wider to get the plastic spacers to fit. Product alignment is poor and even after install, one of the sides rubs every open and close based on how it was manufactured. Seems there is very limited or no quality control at the factory. Took me about 30 - 40 minutes to install alone but if your not handy in any way and don't have any tools (drill, 7/16 drill bit, #10 crescent wrench), it's going to be a challenge.

There are a number of nuts, bolts and washers left over. On my 2015 JK I used the wing nuts and slid them into existing slots on the tailgate. Used two on top and one on bottom. Worked like a charm. Took about 20 minutes to install. I used a Dremel tool to cut around the nuts on the bottom of the plastic and put it back on. Nice product. Lack of instructions was frustrating.

No instructions! Watched a YouTube video and my jeep doesn’t match the video. I have a 2014 Saharah and it has drilling into a tailgate panel and my jeep doesn’t have a tailgate panel. I would need to jimmy rig it to be put on my tailgate. Sits in my storage until I figure out how to jimmy rig it. It’s durable, looks great on the floor but it is getting a one star for no instructions and not compatible with my jeep.

Overall solid construction. I would give the shelf four stars however why they refuse to give us instructions on how to install it is beyond me. For that I give them one star. That said if you take some time to sit and think about it, the installation goes pretty smooth. First, you must take off the plastic cover on the rear tailgate. Once you flip it over, you will see the two upper holes are easily identified by the indentations. Simply drill those two out. The lower holes are marked by a small debit on the backside where you should drill those holes. Everything should lineup perfectly once that’s done. I simply put the spacers in the holes after I drilled them. It’s important to note that the shorter spacers go on the top and the longer spacers go on the bottom. Simply snapped the plastic cover back on and use the appropriate length bolts through your spacers and everything should go fairly smoothly. From that point on all you have to do is attach the shelf unit and the cables. Also note that the bottom right corner of the shelf. There is a bolt that needs to be removed to allow you to put the new bolt through the spacer. Good luck with your installation.

Exactly what I wanted. Fits just fine. Not sure what trouble other people had putting this together. It fits great on my 2021 4xe. I used 1/2 inch bit to drill into the plastic. This allowed a tiny bit of play to make sure I could make it perfectly level. Anyone whocan use a drill, level, wrench, and Allen key should be able to do this. It took about 15 minutes.

Almost 1 year i am currently using this, all good.
