The smell fades pretty quickly from the shampoo bars, but itโ€™s a heavenly citrus scent that is still strong when you wash your hair. It has been phenomenal at moisturizing and detangling my kids hair, from very straight and very porous, to moderate porosity with 3A curls. What really surprised me is that despite it making their hair SO silky, they have more volume to their hair! These are shockingly high quality shampoo and conditioner for the price, even with them being way smaller than I expected. The fact that theyโ€™re so small though, makes them ideal for air travel, especially if youโ€™re trying to pack โ€œpersonal item onlyโ€ on a budget airline, so you both save space and donโ€™t have to pack liquids. The fact that theyโ€™ve been used so much over the last week on four different people, and have barely made a dent in the bars, means youโ€™re definitely not going to have to worry about running out of shampoo or conditioner no matter how long your trip is! Also means that my balking at the tiny size is probably irrelevant because it looks like this is going to last much longer than I expected for their size. The conditioner is a 2 star and I do not recommend it unless maybe you had short thin hair? The shampoo has good lather and suds. Smells great and cleans hair well. I have thick long hair. The conditioner really took some time and work to get enough out of the bar and into my hair. Didn't condition well at all.
