**Q: How do you refill the marker?**
A: This is just a refill. But if you have the fat pilot marker, the top of the marker twists off.

**Q: Can I fill a fountain pen with this?**
A: A bad idea. This is solvent-based. Fountain pen ink is water based. Fountain pen ink is dirt cheap. A small bottle lasts for a long time. Just buy fountain pen ink not this. (And ink jet ink? NO. Another really bad idea, for the same reasons.)

**Q: can this be used in brush pens?**
A: Only a person who has your brush pens would know. But you do, so is the ink in your brush marker just like permanent markers? The other answer (about clogging) makes no sense. Permanent marker ink is a dye, not a pigment. So it's a fluid, which won't clog anything. (A pigment is tiny particles, so it might clog something, but permanent marked ink contains no pigment, so no clogging.)

**Q: Can i use pilot sca-6600 ink to refill pilot sc-6600 markers?**
A: Absolutely!

This review is for PILOT Black Ink Marker Refill: It is exactly what I needed; the ink covered a white PVC surface with one pass and it is truly permanent (see attached images). I tested it on the PVC cap using a small brush, and it covered the surface perfectly without fading on a single pass, so it works perfectly for my project. The bottle is light weight so that can make it tricky to open and risk a spill, so what I did was I placed the bottle firmly on the table but inside a large plastic bag while wearing latex gloves just in case. Then pressing lightly on the bottle against the table surface, I turned the cap slowly and removed it safely without a spill.
