Great book, quality edition

This is a truly beautiful book! I am so pleased with the introduction and unexpected history lesson:). The language is appropriate for the era and is an educational treasure (you could keep an old Webster’s Dictionary on hand if reading with a child). There are many fables that are unfamiliar to me. The book is very well made and the illustrations are terrific (black and white).

J'ai reçu le colis dans les temps mais le livre était juste mis dans le carton (trop grand) et sans protection. Il y a une griffe sur la couverture. C'est dommage pour un si beau livre et à ce prix j'espère une meilleure livraison. Je suis en train d'acheter tous les livres de cette collection et je me demande si Amazon est vraiment le meilleur endroit pour les acheter.
