Place it on doors, windows, cabinets, safes, and more with the included adhesive backing — and a receive notification or even turn on the lights when the sensor is opened. Review: Super easy to use and setup - I recently got the Philips Hue door sensor, and I’m really impressed with it. The setup was super easy—I had it connected and working in just a few minutes with no hassle. It’s very convenient to use, especially since it automatically triggers my lights when I open the door, which makes coming home at night much nicer. Highly recommend if you want a simple and smart way to control your lights. Review: Quality adhesive - They work like they should. But the thing I appreciate most is that the adhesive was sticky enough to allow me to screw up the placement and then fix it, and it still stuck. Remember, if putting this on the top of a door, put it on the knob side not the hinge side! ## Features - WHAT’S IN THE BOX - Includes one, black Hue Secure smart contact sensors - REQUIRES A HUE BRIDGE - To use this product, you must have a Bridge. It also enables the full suite of smart home security features: light alarms, the mimic presence automation, and the ability to expand your home security—or smart lighting—setup. - PLACEMENT - Using the adhesive backing (included), place the sensors on doors, windows, cabinets, safes, and more. - SUPREME PEACE OF MIND - When armed, the contact sensors send a real-time alert to your mobile device—and can even turn on lights—as soon as they’re triggered. The setup was super easy—I had it connected and working in just a few minutes with no hassle. It’s very convenient to use, especially since it automatically triggers my lights when I open the door, which makes coming home at night much nicer. Highly recommend if you want a simple and smart way to control your lights. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality adhesive *by J***N on June 30, 2026* They work like they should. But the thing I appreciate most is that the adhesive was sticky enough to allow me to screw up the placement and then fix it, and it still stuck. Remember, if putting this on the top of a door, put it on the knob side not the hinge side! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smart solution for a bathroom lighting problem—my guests and parents love it *by S***E on April 9, 2025* I installed this Philips Hue Secure Contact Sensor on my bathroom door to work in tandem with my motion sensor lighting, and it solved an issue I didn’t even know had a clean fix. Before, the lights would turn on automatically when someone entered—but because no one ever used the switch, they’d stay on until the motion timer ran out. Not ideal, especially when hosting. Now, with the contact sensor installed, the lights turn off as soon as the door is closed and remain off until it’s opened again. It’s been a subtle but meaningful upgrade that’s particularly helpful for guests and older family members who appreciate not fumbling for a switch. The system feels more responsive and intentional. I’m sure there are tons of other creative ways to use this sensor, but even just in this one application, it’s already proving its value. If you entertain often or have aging family in your home, this is a quiet workhorse that will elevate your setup. ## Frequently Bought Together - Philips Hue Secure Smart Contact Sensor, Black - 1 Pack - Made for Indoor Doors and Windows - Requires Hue Bridge - Works with The Hue App - Philips Hue Go Smart Portable Dimmable Table Lamp, White - White and Color Ambiance LED Color-Changing Light - 1 Pack - Indoor and Outdoor Use - Control with Hue App or Voice Assistant - Philips Hue Bridge - Unlock the Full Potential of Hue - Multi-Room and Out-of-Home Control - Create Automations and Zones - Secure, Stable Connection Won't Strain Your Wi-Fi - Works with Voice, Matter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/584709328-philips-hue-secure-smart-contact-sensor-black-1-pack-made](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/584709328-philips-hue-secure-smart-contact-sensor-black-1-pack-made) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
