I replaced my whole kitchen in 1 hr and love them! *by S***Z on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2018* I wanted to replace all my old kitchen cabinet hinges to match a couple newer cabinets that have wonderful soft-close hinges. I hesitated buying these for fear they wouldn't quite fit the older cabinets right or would cause some other issue that would take me hours or days to resolve. After figuring out what the seller meant by "the thickness of the cabinet panel," I gave it a shot. They mean measure the distance the door panel overlaps the cabinet face. On YouTube, search for "How to Measure Your Cabinet Door Overlay." My door panels overlapped the cabinet 1-1/4" and these hinges swapped perfectly with the old ones. As others have commented, the hinge pocket is 1-3/8" (35mm). The screw holes were close to my old ones, but about 2mm off. So I carefully drilled new holes. DON'T try to force screws in at bad angles. When I did this on the first couple hinges, it caused them to twist at subtle angles and the doors wouldn't even close smoothly. Once I redrilled holes, everything went smoothly and I was done 12 cabinet doors in about an hour. Yes, the included screws were cheap, but I reused my old ones except the few that stripped out (the originals were cheap/soft metal, too). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great price and quality *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2017* Delivery was on time.As a semi-professional woodworker/cabinet maker,I must say this hinge is your best choice. These are plenty good for the DYIer that wants pro results. I used a Kreg jig for boring the holes (35mm) and the template on the jig was perfect for the mounting screw holes. The holes in the jig for the screws are smaller than the 3/32" pilot holes recommended for the screws provided with the hinges so I just redrilled after removing the jig. Not sure why people have complained about the screws. I used a Craftsman #2 Phillip's screwdriver and cranked the screws down tight. No problems. My doors were Alder by the way. The soft close feature is really nice too. I used 2 soft close hinges on each door (30"X27") with great results. It was really nice having multiple "Overlay" options too as I had already made the cabinet and doors and needed to make the spacing right. (3 doors side by side.) These are the same hinges found in cabinets sold by "Cabinets To Go" retailers. (Wish they would sell extra doors without the whole cabinet.) Anyway, these make a rookie look good.
