If you are new to board games; if you are a gamer and want a rewarding game you can play with anyone; or if you just like superheroes and cool miniatures: then this is a buy. Marvel United/DC United is the gold standard for universal cooperative board games.

I recently added the Marvel United Spider-Geddon board game to my collection, and it's been an absolute blast. If your not familiar with the united series it's a cooperative game that has many modules and components that can be added to the base games. Definitely not needed but gives you the ability to expand and try different heroes against different villians. Components are nice and very easy to learn.

The theme of this one is great if you like the Spider-man storyline. The mechanics of this version adapts components from the base Marvel United and Marvel United X-men into one game. There are also some new mechanics. However, if you didn't like Marvel United at all then don't get this one. This is an entry level game that is fun to play.

Very fun game and a variety of characters. Great entry point into the system, especially if you like Spiderman and the Spiderverse. Recommend picking up.

I own a few of these series now and they always feel so clutch on the win. Its awesome!

I have all the marvel United expansions. I do every Kickstarter. After backing the multiverse KS, I was annoyed to hear this was coming out and not part of the KS. Its a fun expansion, and I recommend it though!

Super fun cooperative game suitable for all ages with varying degrees of difficulty. The minis have incredible detail and the artwork is colourful and pleasant to look at. The main downside is that the theme and characters are pretty niche compared to the Avengers (Season 1) and X-Men (Season 2) core sets. I think the X-Men core set is the best overall, but you can't go wrong with any of them.

Awesome game! So many different ways to play and challenge levels. Love this for quick game nights with the kids or beer and pretzels games with friends.
