UGREEN USB C to 3.5mm Jack DAC Hi-Res 32bit/384kHz Type C Headphone Adapter

I bought this to use with a pair of fiio ft1 headphones with my phone and ipad (samsung s24+ and ipad air 4th gen) and it works fine with both, and personally the sound quality seems comparable to being wired in directly to other devices, without any loss or distortion etc (though I'm not an audiophile and everyone's ears are different, so ymmv). The adapter itself seems well made of sturdier plastic and metal than some others on the market, so I would say it's worth the slightly higher price point compared to the one without the hifi audio. Would recommend.

Really good Hi Res adapter. I've used it both on my mobile phone and my chrome book with no issues at all, music is crystal clear with a solid connection. I use it to stream Hi Res Flac files on the streaming service Tidal, which sounds absolutely amazing. Remember to use a good quality pair of headphones to connect to the adapter, failure to do so is like owning a SuperCar and putting water in the tank and expecting to win a race, not going to happen. It sounds fantastic, I can whole heartedly recommend. It may be twice the price of other adapters on Amazon, but like they say, you get what you pay for!

I’ve been a HiFi geek for more years than I care to remember. Consequently, I have several DACs at home, including one quite expensive one. Also a range of headphones, some being high-end. When I saw this item on offer, I couldn’t resist, but had no particular expectations. A tiny device like this for just over a tenner? In the event, I was amazed. Used with appropriate cans (keep away from those 300 ohm current guzzlers!) - I used Sennheiser HD599s - they really impress. Indeed, they give the Dragonfly Red, at over 15 times the price, a real run for its money. Obviously, they are not quite as good, but the differences are fairly subtle. Plus, they are much smaller and more convenient to fit onto an Android phone than the more demanding Dragonfly. Note that although I have used them on both my iPad and my Samsung A54, when on the phone they automatically run USB Audio Pro (a paid app) in the background, which may partly account for their excellent audio performance. Still working superbly in May 2025. Just buy them…

This is an amazing product and at first I wasn't sure how much difference it would make but it made a huge difference. Before I had the volume about 90% on my headphones and then I noticed that using the adapter even at 50% or 60% the volume is loud. In addition the clarity and bass increase is more than sufficient. Music, movies, dramas and documentaries sound so much better. The build quality is excellent as it's Ugreen, great value for money and highly recommended.

This is a useful adaptor and has great sound quality. Works perfectly when the phone is static. The USB socket fit for the Google Pixel isn't quite as firm if using it for headphones. This means that when walking about, it occasionally gets mover sideways/ angled and losses the usb connection and therefore music stops playing.

So at first I thought i might just be buying 'snake oil' but we'll worth the money. I've been using an old mobile phone and a 3.5mm cable to phoneo to make my 90's stereo a bit more 21st century but when I was looking at upgrades (or replacing it) my mate AI suggested one of these. Instead of using the internal DAC audio converter in the phone (which even in top end phones isn't good) you plug this in and wow.

I have been having problems using my usb dac with my Samsung phone since it updated to Android 15 One UI 7. For some reason the volume to my headphones would drop dramatically for no reason, and there would be odd squawking noises in the music. I saw this adaptor advertised as HiRes compatable at a very low price. I was so fed up with the issues I was having I decided to buy one. I can say that all my problems have disappeared now. All types of music files play faultlessly. And the sound quality is absolutely outstanding. In fact I can't get over how brilliant the sound is from such a compact adaptor. It drives my very high impedance Sennheiser headphone to high volumes with no problems. No going back to comparatively large DAC's for me, it's been a revelation.

UGREEN has proven again and again that it is a solid company. This adapter is another example. Works perfectly with no cutting in and out, no overheating, solid connection. Good product.

Very interesting product and worked amazingly. Used my headphones (analogue 3.5mm) jack directly on an older iPad Pro. Now, I bought this to use on new iPad with USB C. Same headphones but sound quality has improved with clarity and dynamic range. Couldn’t believe the difference especially when I tried it for the first time. I have not tried the standard version so I cannot comment on the differences. However, this adapter (with its own DAC I assume) made my headphones come alive.

Has been an excellent product so far... had it for a while now and its been flawless. I had a few cheaper versions and some counter top "in a pinch" purchases. They all work but I ALWAYS had to have my volume maxed out to get results out of them... the electronics in this one is superior in every way. Clear, clean signal with no loss in output... always have lots of volume and clean output with this adaptor. Very happy with it and its still very affordable for how well it works for my needs. I need a wired connection for my work in corporate events as a hard wired connection to a sound system is a must.

Todo bien, el paquete venía perfecto. Realmente sí funciona y la música sale con calidad. En mi uso personal, lo utilizo con unos audífonos Sony, y cuando enciendo los audífonos y los utilizo con el adaptador, se escucha un poco de distorsión. Pero los he conectado a varias bocinas y todo genial.
