Easy to use
I had never used any silicone and never made any molds before. I chose this to experiment with because it looked simple. Turns out it was extremely easy to use. It didn't even need degassing, which was nice because I don't have a vacuum chamber. The only issue I had was that I wanted a food safe silicone. Even though the listing said it was food safe, the manufacturer says it is NOT food safe.

fastest silicone I've ever used
I make wax molds and the process of working with wax can be daunting. this product allows me to produce new wax parts for casting in a single day. the material is soft and rubber like. to get the best results I inject the wax with a 3d printed mold box. the silicone is not as sturdy as the high heat silicones by smooth-on but if you need parts fast this is the best option.

This amount is good only for small castings for big casting ull need maybe Like 3 orders i was able to get. 2 molds Both mayb 7โ inches long By 4โ inches tall By 2 width Expensive but good so for small casting really good I would buy this again Mix Half and half of. Solids on the bottom, Have your stuff READY.
This is a great, fairly easy-to-use two part silicone. I've made a couple of successful molds from it already! The bottles say to stir well before use, and my bottles have some solids on the bottom. When I bring up the stir stick it almost looks like crumbled, cured silicone, so I don't know if I need to stirVERY WELL, or just stir enough so the liquid is ready to be mixed? This is the QUICK CURE stuff. Be sure you have everything 100% ready to go before mixing, because when it says you have a 6 minute pot life, they MEAN IT. I had some mix left over from my first pour and thought "Oh well, lemme just do another really quick" NOPE, got about 3/4 of it poured into my second mold, and I would have had enough, BUT it was already thickening halfway through the pour, then it wouldn't flow anymore because it was on it's way to setting up.

Love This Stuff Just Wish It Wasn't SOOO Expensive
This stuff works great and is very easy to use. I've actually purchased several sets of it. And had no problem making it work. I did have an issue with the package leaking, but I think that was Amazon's idiot driver who threw it over my back gate instead of walking to my front door. You do have to be quick since this is the fast setting, so be sure you have everything ready you want to pour on. It is messy to work with so put something down under it. Comes out a bright blue color.

Just a few instructions to help you out.
Have used this stuff for years, if you let the jar sit for too long on the shelf it will seperate and basically crystallize on the bottom. Just use a metal screwdriver or something like that to stir it up again scraping all the lumps and they will redisolve into the mix. If you don't it will effect cure times and hardness, as one would imagine, you need all the ingredients to make the mix work as designed. As someone else stated, they are not kidding about the 6 min pot life. Don't worry about timing the mixing of the 2 parts, just mix until the color is uniform and pour it.

More flexible then a 20, but lasting just as long!
I make dice molds for resin out of this and wasn't sure if the softer shore value would work well. It makes great molds- and they are lasting as long and better then the 20 shore. I usually use the Mold Star 20-which also works great for molds- but the 16- easier on the hands for sure!

Keep light objects secured
When pouring the mold silicone over light objects, keep them secured. I have spent probably an hour cleaning up the edges as it floated about. But the detail is perfect love this
