This is the best tasting matcha I have found at a reasonable price. It has a vibrant green color, which I’ve found is usually a good indication. It has a strong flavor, too, which is also a good indication of quality. This is my go-to for matcha powders!

I’ve been using Mighty Leaf Organic Matcha as my daily go-to for smoothies and matcha-greens drinks. The quality feels clean and authentic — 100% organic green tea powder with no additives or sweeteners. I moved and didn't change my billing address with Encha so I was out of my fav Matcha, needed a quick fix and after some reviews ordered a bag of this of Amazon hoping for the best. I've been an Encha subscriber since 2016 and have had better than that a few times but at 3-4 X the price. Tried Matcha.com but lets just say that ended badly. Save yourself the bad surprises. Anyways, this matcha was quite a nice surprise. It has good color, not quite as green as Encha but better than most I've tried, and froths up well, when sifted, and taste 'good' but .... the mouth feel is never thick and as creamy as Encha, even with 2x the quantity of powder. It just doesn't have something there, maybe it's a rougher grind, I don't know. So it really wasn't unpleasant in any way, and if you want to try matcha for the first time, it's much cheaper than most, so this is a great buy. I can even imagine from some of the feed back I have received from my non-matcha loving friends that some may like this better than the richer thicker traditional matcha like Encha. So I would recommend giving it a try if your not in love with your matcha now. And serve it to guess that won't know the difference anyways if you don't use it yourself. And as an extra perk it's covered by EBT.
