Great replacement distributor
I purchased this ACCEL HEI distributor for my Chevy 350, and I have been very impressed with it. Right out of the box, the quality was obvious. The components appear to be well made, everything was assembled correctly, and it even came with the coil already installed, making the installation process simple.The distributor dropped right into the engine with no issues and fit exactly as it should. After setting the timing, the engine started easily, idled smoothly, and has performed flawlessly.If you are looking for a dependable, no nonsense HEI replacement, this is an excellent option. It is a quality part at a fair price, and I would not hesitate to purchase another one. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a reliable replacement distributor for a small block Chevy.

Plug and play great quality
I had problems with cheaper products trying to save a few bucks. Not worth the ACCEL may be made on China but the specs are tight. For example all the cap plug wire connections are brass and machines after assembly for true co centricity.The timing curve was near perfect, no misses easy starts awesome, highly recommended1981. Good Distributor
Works great, just installed few days ago. but the insides look like good quality. The actual module inside seems like a aftermarket cant see any recongnizable brand on it. I will say the vac advance is not adjustable thru the vacuum hole, you have to install this little bracket insides to limit travel on vacuum arm. i dont like this style but it worked somewhat fine. it's just easier to adjust thru the vacuum hole in my experience. But for the price you cant beat these distributors. the one it replaced i had in the car 6yrs, replaced it cause module went out and all wires inside were toasted. was cheaper to just replace the whole distributor.

Used in 1981 GMC Motorhome. Works perfectly but I only have 1000 kms on it. Will let you know more in one year.

Accell distributor
This was a perfect fit for my 1975 Chevy 350 and was a massive improvement over the worn out unit that was there before. The mechanical advance is a little aggressive so I would recommend getting a set of limiters. Otherwise awesome unit easy install and works great. As for longevity I will update if there are any premature failures.
