Great fit, great look
Braces arrived well in time and well wrapped. The red braces look snazzy and fit well. I wore them as a character choice for an audition and got an immediate favourable response. They feel comfy, secure and reliable.

What a difference (and drawbacks)
I bought these braces, not as a fashion statement, but for purely practical reasons. Being a little rotund, I find my jeans/shorts, when gardening contantly need hitching up and it drives me mad. So, I finally bit the bullet and bought a pair of braces. Not particularly wanting to draw attention to the fact my trousers will slide down, belt or not, I put the braces on under my t-shirt. You can probably still tell I'm wearing them if you look hard enough. I thought they were too loose when I put them on, I thought I'd have to keep adjusting them until they felt ok and did the job, however I was surprised.I kept the normal stretchy belt on and put the jeans where I wanted them, then added the braces. They were fairly easy to push off my shoulders, and I couldn't feel I was wearing them at all. I didn't notice until later - I hadn't hitched my jeans up. Not once. Over two days or weeding, stretching, etc. Wow.Now, wearing them under my tshirt did result in the occasional 'pinching' where the metal size regulators were in front of my shoulders (I'm 5'3"), and I was reaching across myself. I also had to be careful if I was in a rush for the loo, as you have to take your tshirt/top off first so you can push off the straps. You could unclip them, from the front, but then risk them falling into the toilet...A curiosity - the label has a symbol meaning 'do not wash'. It also has a symbol meaning 'iron cool'. Don't suppose you'd iron them unless they were wet at some point? Anyway, I think they will need to be washed, either getting sweaty or dirty, unless you're wearing them as formal attire. So rambling over, am I pleased I bought them? Absolutely. I've only worn them for two days so can't atest to their longevity (I am sceptical about it being a Chinese-owned import). The clips remained firmly attached. Any minor rubbing/discomfort was more than balanced by their usefulness. They are now a staple gardening accessory!Update: six weeks later and they are still as good, no problems.
