Just what I was looking for
I'd got a small collection of tailbags now, but bought this as it seemed more convenient. Used it once, and this will now be my main go-to for extra storage. I'll be riding with a Kriega R25 backpack, and this givi bag. I've tried a Kappa 15L tailbag, and recently got a Kriega US30M too, but will be using this Givi one instead of those two, which were both much more expensive! The Kriega US30 is great, and I'll probably find a good way to use the quick fastening system with thi GIVI bag. What lets that down for me is the shoulder strap is kinda awkward for me - being 5'7", with it on the shortest length the bag still sits a bit further down that I'd have liked, and with a small but heavy load it just feels awkward. The Kappa tailpack is very decent, but whatever I used for extra storage, I don't want to leave on the bike when I go off, anyone could take a look inside, or undo/cut the cords and make off with it. And the Kappa tailbag is just another thing I'd have to carry around. It also gets a bit awkward when I have my R25 full up, have to lean forward a lot.The givi holds more than the Kappa, and feels better to carry than the US30 (thought i'd not tried it with the shoulder strap yet). I've made the mistake of strapping down my heavy padlock chain to the pillion seat in sports/mesh bags in the past, and it's torn through them when going through bends a bit quick. The GIVI has held up fine, and the most convenient thing is when I lock my bike up, I can then fold up the GIVI and easily carry it in my R25 backpack. I found myself often leaving my padlock chain at home, and making do with just a disk lock, but now I'll be carrying it all without any qualms or difficulty.Attached pic shows it strapped up with just my chain inside - it pooled to one sidee as expected, but the bag stayed put, even with some fair lean angles and aggressive speed changes. Loaded it up on the return journey, just forgot to take a pic of it. Been really good so far.

Great bag
This bag is just perfect for a weekend break, managed to get waterproofs, clothes and shoes for a three day trip round Tuscany in this bag with ease, waterproof and easy to fix to my bike. 5 stars.

OK
Poor quality tie-downs and it doesn't really seal down like the photo let it down a bit.

Top wet bag, worked well for my motorbike tour
Awesome wet bag, attachment D rings are sturdy and worked well when tying it down to the back of the bike. Because of its cylindrical shape the wind passes over it well so motorway speeds was solid on the back.

Great product, fine for a weekend trip
Great product and exactly what I needed. Perfectly waterproof and tough too. If you're travelling light it's perfect, but you won't fit a wedding suit plus gift in there. Get a bigger one if you are heading off for a few days. Can always add a backpack I suppose.

An excellent alternative to hard panniers.
I have several items of GIVI waterproof soft luggage plus a couple of tank bags which use the tank lock system. All are of excellent quality and have proved reliable and practical. I can mix and match my luggage depending on the journey or tour I am understaking. The bags come with elasticated hooked luggage straps. I don't use these because of my personal preference to use ROK straps. For me, at least, they are an excellent alternative to hard panniers.

Uncomplicated Intelligent Design - does the job
Sat neatly across the grab rails on the back of my Triumph Tiger during a trip round Scotland. Attached with the bungees supplied. Held everything I needed inc shoes, fleece, T shirts, underwear, toiletries. Did several hundred miles in torrential rain and everything was bone dry.

Abbiamo riso a crepapelle e, dopo averla ripescata, era ancora perfettamente sigillata e asciutta all'interno.

Quality Construction - Best Attachment Points
I waited a few months so I could write a review based on my experience using this bag on my BMW G310GS as a tail bag for day trips. It's plenty large enough for a large tool roll, first aid kit, bulky rain suit, lunch, etc.The material is ideal - not too thin, not too thick, not too stiff. The features and construction are top notch. This is a high quality bag that is definitely a notch or two above the less expensive roll top dry bags I own. You'll immediately know why it's twice the price of an inexpensive bag... because it's five times as good. There is some pride in ownership with a quality product like this, and I'm confident that it won't fail when the going gets tough.I mostly bought this bag because it has four nylon tie down D rings on one side. I place that side with the logo down and use the D rings to strap the bottom of the bag to the rear rack. Other roll top dry bags require me to use a couple of straps over the top to secure the bag to the rack, and then I'm forced to loosen the straps to access the contents of the bag, which is a dumb design. Givi gets it right by not forcing me to compress the bag to secure it to the rack, and it's also more securely attached by not needing to compress the bag. It's a simple detail that makes a huge difference, and these important details are what we get with equipment specifically designed for motorcycle use.A pair of these bags would also be great on a large bike when mounted to the lids of large hard panniers.
