Very heavy, pro-level pull bar. This is the polar opposite of a big box bar. The weight adds to the inertia after a strike to set LVP edge. It is the right tool.

Just beat it! Wow so solid and tough- I beat this during the floor install an its super. The pointy end is good for moving a row too or fro. Highly recommend. Very happy.

I work as a flooring installer, and as such have need for this rather specialized tool. Our old one has been on the job during the time I have been with the crew, and gets used (and abused) heavily. While it is still highly functional, it looks like it has been through a demolition derby, so I got a one-for-one replacement. While I cannot comment on the longevity of this particular, individual tool, I feel confident it will meet or exceed the longevity of the original. Would I buy another? Sure...if I'm still alive when the new one (which I reviewing) looks like IT has been through a demolition derby. This is a PROFESSIONAL tool, built for folk who spend eight hours a day on their knees installing solid wood and engineered laminated hardwood floors every day, and need a tool that works as hard as they do.

Would not buy or consider using anything ELSE! Worth it many times over...

This was a second choice as the one I wanted was out of stock. Came recommended as a quality bar. It certainly is rugged, welds seem good though I have not used it yet. As a woodworker, my first impression was, “sheesh , could have spent a little time finishing it off” for a $40 hunk of bulk steel ( ie. Not cast or forged)there are sharp edges and a bit of weld spatter. I will likely take a minute before I do use it and knock those down. A tool you are handling constantly should not have sharp edges. A couple spots are sharp enough to cut if you grab or toss it just right. As far as use of the tool, it has a pretty basic function and as far as I can tell should serve the task just fine.

This puller was a life saver. I bought the cheap laminate floor installation kit and bent the cheap puller after just a few rows of LVP planks. And I had about 30 rows to go. This puller is thick and heavy and indestructible. A must have if your planks require anything more than a gentle love tap to seat all the way. This tool is built to last and I love that it is made in the USA!

Started a DIY laminate flooring project with a standard pull bar from the big box hardware store and quickly realized it wasn’t going to do the job. I ordered this pull bar and it was a night and day difference. What took me 5-10 slaps to snap in the laminate now took 2. This tool is solid, made well and crafted not to scratch or dent flooring and cut down my instal time. It is worth it.

Heavy duty. Length is longer which allows for a longer swing from the mallet.

This is made to last, it has felt under to protect the floor and is the only tool you would ever need, I doubt even a professional Laminate installer would buy more than two of these, unless he works alone and then only one. The only reason I could see why you would ever need to buy another tool is that you gave it to some one to use and they didn't give it back or you misplaced it and can't find it :) Yes it costs more but saves the time and effort over the cheap crap, I would have saved $25 had I bought this straight away, the cheap tool kept bending and just didn't do the job very well, to much flex and so you have to hit more often, this tool one good smack and it's in first time every time.

Used so far to loosen and remove stubborn baseboard. Have not yet used to install laminate but it is a weighty tool and think it'll do the job.

Seems solid, like it won’t bend after it’s been hit a few time
