Nordic Ware Micro Mix and Melt, White, 3 Cups

I have been looking for a bowl made of glass, but they are hard to find and mostly too pricy. I found this mixing bowl and it seemed to be what I was looking for and perfect for my particular purpose. It is easy to handle, with a good handle. The color didn't matter to me but being able to microwave was top priority. It works great for that. The one con that I can provide is the pour spout is a bit non-functional. I just have to start pouring and hope the liquid goes in the receptacle. Sturdy and looks nice.

Love, love, love this Nordic Ware Better Batter Bowl WITH HANDLE AND SPOUT! And IT IS BETTER for batter! Funny how a mixing bowl can make all the difference of a great cake. This is so much better than anything I was using! The bowl is so sturdy, can be put in the microwave, doesn't scratch when mixing, SO EASY to wash afterwards and BPA free. What more could you ask for? I'm not fond of a dishwater, would rather wash my dishes by hand and this is the easiest bowl I own now! I love it and will buy again!

When I ordered this bowl I thought it was ceramic, but I am so glad it's made of a hard durable plastic. It's lightweight but super sturdy. It also has a grip ring on the bottom that keeps it from sliding on any surface. The size is perfect for mixing cookie and cake batter, whipping cream and pudding mix and so much more! This is a perfect bowl for anyone's kitchen and at the very reasonable price, makes a great gift.

I received my bowl in just two days which was very nice. The look and everything was nice. The complaint I have is the rubber which should be on the bottom is missing so the bowl doesn’t grip the counter. I ordered two and one has it and the other doesn’t.

I got this because I could not pick up the pampered chef one that I have. I had surgery. This is made by a company I trust as I have any other things by them. It has been perfect. It is light but sturdy and it can be washed in the dishwasher, but I handwash it. I have had this bowl for a few months and have used it at least once a day, it has done wonderful

Lightweight , just what hubby was looking for , longer pouring spout than others , would highly recommend

I bought this because my glass measuring cup with a pour spout can get heavy. This plastic option seemed like a lighter alternative. Then it arrived. I had immediate second thoughts. It is white and items I heat are seldom white. I worried about stains because no matter how much money companies spend on marketing a research that suggests otherwise, I have never had a plastic item that resisted all stains and odor. My second concern was related to heating food products in the microwave in plastic. Just my opinion, but I've been told that the chemical make up of plastic, no matter how space age, changes in the microwave and aspects of the chemical chains can enter whatever contents are being heated. Is this true? I'm not a scientist but I do trust my glass measuring cup. I returned the plastic one.
