Super cute can’t wait to start scratching off

I saw this poster at a friend's house and I wanted one for my own kitchen. My daughter and I love to bake. This poster is a great source of inspiration. There are old favorites and several items we have never heard of before. It's fun to examine the poster for ideas of what to bake. It's even MORE fun to scratch the covering off the picture while enjoying the treat!

God this as a gift to my baker sister and she absolutely love it. it helps when she doesn’t know what to make she just looks at it and picks something. Very nice quality. Very functional and very nice gift. It’s also a fun idea for family’s.

We love baking in my house but, while not a bad thing, we have a tendency to bake the same things and look on how to improve them rather than try something new. This has made a game out of trying other bakes for us and its been a lot of fun for our family. Its also helped us all realize (especially my kids but remind me as well) that we can learn tricks from one bake and bring them to a different bake to make it better... Just like in life! Its a nice shiny poster though it did take a solid two days to get it to lay flat. The squares do scratch off easily which is nice and give a sense of accomplishment. Product is as described and pictured so don't expect any recipes which I'm totally fine with; it has given us the opportunity to not only learn about some of them but for instance also pick whether or not we want to make the lady fingers from scratch for the tiramisu or not.

The poser arrived in a safe rolling container and looks great. The only oddity is the choice of "idears" instead of ideas - which I should have noticed before ordering.

The baking idear list is a nice size poster to hang in a kitchen. It's easy to scratch off the squares, which doesn't look like it would be because the poster is glossy finish, but it is. At first, i thought idear was a misprint, but turns out, it's just not commonly used anymore and actually is the best word for "to imagine, think up, or make in a clever way".

First, from older reviews, it now says ideas, not idear. But regardless, it's super repetitive. My husband got it for me as a present and I was pretty happy with it until I started actually going thru and scratching items off. There are 9 varieties of typical cake. Including chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, etc. there's regular cupcake and vanilla cupcake. There's white bread, wheat bread, raisin bread, cornbread... But no challah? It has blueberry buckle but no crisp or cobbler? I question their choices. I question their choices so hard. Fudge is on here and you don't even bake that! You don't bake peanut brittle either. So it's cute and all, but similar options available on Amazon (and elsewhere) might have a much better selection of options.

This was exactly what I expected and with so much more creativity in the different bake ideas than I had anticipated! From traditional tiramisu to mushroom turnovers, I'm so excited to tackle these bakes in 2024! Amateur baking enthusiasts - worth it!!!
