I've tried plenty of clarifying shampoos over the years, and L'Oréal Paris EverPure Sulfate-Free Clarifying Shampoo with Antioxidants strikes a nice balance between deep cleansing and keeping hair healthy. Unlike many clarifying shampoos that leave hair feeling stripped or squeaky, this one removes product buildup, excess oil, and even the dulling effects of hard water while still leaving my hair soft and manageable. The sulfate-free formula is especially great for color-treated hair since it cleans without noticeably fading color. Its formula includes antioxidants, vitamin C, and glycine to help restore shine and maintain hydration rather than leaving hair dry. The scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering, and although it doesn't create the rich lather that traditional sulfate shampoos do, it still leaves my scalp feeling refreshed. I noticed my hair had more volume, felt lighter, and stayed cleaner longer after using it. It also pairs well with a moisturizing conditioner if your hair tends to be on the dry side. My only minor criticism is that if you're expecting an ultra-intense clarifying shampoo, this formula is gentler than some salon brands. For most people, though, that's actually a benefit because it can be used more regularly without making hair feel brittle. Overall, it's an excellent drugstore option that performs well above its price point, especially for anyone dealing with product buildup, hard water, or color-treated hair.

Love love love this shampoo. I use it once weekly to get any left over product or grease from my hair that normal shampoos don’t. It’s super effective, has a great smell, protects my color and has a good lather. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and squeaky clean.

I noticed my hair was getting a little greasier on the roots and I was told by my hairdresser to use a clarifying shampoo once a week. This shampoo is great, makes my hair very soft, freshens up my hair and is very affordable. My hair has not been getting as greasy as fast on the roots

It works well. My hair feels nice afterwards. The scent smells like men's deodorant. Smells nice but it's SO strong and lingers all day. I don't love my head smelling like that all day. I will probably not order it again because of that.

I love this! It smells great and has a great lather. My hair felt extremely clean and my curls felt super hydrated and it didn't massively tangle my hair.

this has been the only thing to help the build up in my hair and my itchy scalp. it helps with hard water build up and it’s left my hair feeling cleaner than it’s ever been. it’s gentle on the scalp so it doesn’t dry out your hair, it really cleanses your scalp good and leave it very clean and shiny.

Love this product. This L’Oréal line of hair products are really good, for my hair anyway. My hair is pretty thick, course, half grey, which I dye myself with L’Oreal dyes. I think they Are good quality products that does what they say. This product cleaned my hair well, but without drying it out, making it nice and shiny.

I have never used a clarifying shampoo before so I don't have much of a basis to compare. I will agree with the other reviews that this shampoo does leave the hair feeling a little dryer than my regular shampoo, it is also a much thinner consistency and more needs to be used to get it to lather. The scent is fine, no offensive but also not memorable. My regular shampoo smells better, but overall I am very pleased with the purchase. I've only used it once so far, so only time will tell if my review changes, but so far I am quite pleased.
