Kumon Thinking Skills Workbooks Pre-K: Logic

I have bought two of these books for my twin 5yo daughters. I think they of just right complexity for this age group (bear in mind that all children are different). What I like the most that, unlike in some other books from KUMON series, there is a good variety of tasks of progressing complexity. On average I think there are four double-sided pages per task type. It starts with really easy problems, like finding the match between roughly pixelized image and its original (and by the end it requires some reasoning to find the original). Then it progresses to some challenging problem like finding the match after rotating the original picture. Overall this book is a great success. I find it helpful to use it together with more 'boring' books from KUMON series, like addition or subtraction -- after doing repetitive math problem I ask my daughters to do 'easy' and completely different problem from this workbook.

Mit diesem Buch können sie es, uns zwar nach ganz kurzer Gewöhnung sogar ohne meine Hilfe. Sie schauen sich die Musteraufgabe an und versuchen es bei den folgenden Aufgaben allein. Nur ganz selten muss ich meinen stolzen Mäusen helfen. Die Aufgaben sind also gut verständlich und helfen beim logischen Denken und beim Entdecken von Größe, Gewicht, Geschwindigkeit,...

got it cus review was great and it is. i grew up doing kumon as a child but this is so colorful and ao many different subjects now. this books is really interesting and its like a game for my kid already finished ten pages at once. i think we will finish it in a week. need more series!!

Las actividades son buenas, algunas se ven complicadas para la edad. Lo único es dura poco.

Meu filho adorou as atividades. O livro é maravilhoso e estimula o raciocínio lógico das crianças. O fato de estar em inglês não trouxe nenhum obstaculo para o entendimento do meu filho sobre as atividades. Gostamos muito. Ele aprendeu brincando.

The 3.9 yr old son loved the activity book and we finished it in less than a month. Helps develop congnitive skills of toddlers and acts as a homeschooling device in days where homework is not mandatory and guidance in terms of right approach to learning very important.
