Before I had found this, I used to buy Grossan's Breathe Ease saline solution, and, though that one is OK, its larger grains take longer to dissolve than the SinuAir powder..... and by the end of the bottle, they used to be clumped a lot. I've never had SinuAir clump, even in this tall bottle. Important tip: To keep the powder from clumping, make sure that you screw on the cap each time after using this, so the salt stays dry... and, of course, don't take out the dessicant packets. Con: The only small negative of this 300 mg "jar" is its height. The scoop is shorter than the jar, so it's more of a pain to get to the last 1/3 of the bottle. The 200 mg bottle is just the right size, but more expensive. I solve this by decanting the last 1/3 into a 200 mg SinuAir bottle I had bought initially. That works perfectly. All in all, this is an excellent product. Both my kids recently had sinus surgery, so have to irrigate 2x daily to heal, and it's wonderful to have the convenience of this pre-mixed, buffered powder that dissolves easily and doesn't sting. We also use it at 1.5 strength or more, since that helps reduce swelling and feels pleasantly salty. Review: Very pricey - I admit I have been using this for a couple of years, and it works just fine BUT in figuring out the cost--this is very expensive for a simple mixture of non-iodized salt, baking powder, calcium chloride powder and potassium chloride powder. All of these are CHEAP items you can buy at your local store and desertcart. You can find how to make your own saline solutions online and most just use non-iodized salt and baking powder in a 3to1 ratio--3tsp salt with 1 tsp baking powder. However I cant seem to find how much potassium and calcium chloride to add to the mixture. I will try 1/2 tsp of each to start and make a very small batch. My only issue is that you can only use the scoop 10 or so times before it no longer reaches the power to scoop it. you can tilt the container and get some but the issue only gets worse and worse AND WORSE as you use it!!!
