This is an especially DARK, dark romance. It’s the seventh book in the Dark Olympus series and should not be read out of order. Minos’s daughter, FMC Ariadne, has escaped her father’s clutches only to find herself tangled in the Olympians’ web. But the Minotaur, Asterion, Minos’s enforcer, is not one to stand back and let her go. This was an exciting installment in the series. It’s definitely darker than some of the previous books, and there are a lot of dominoes being lined up for the larger plot arc. I enjoyed Ariadne and the Minotaur’s story, though they’re both walking red flags, and I definitely wouldn’t want to date or even be friends with them. Still, it was a fun and intense read. This is the 7th book in the Dark Olympus series and things are really popping off! It was really interesting to get The Minotaur's point of view after the last few books and see Ariadne step into the spotlight. I'm so excited for the next few books, especially Zeus and Hera!

Olympus is on the verge of collapse, Ariadne is the daughter of Minos. Ariadne marries Dionysus for protection. Asterion, the Minotaur is Minos’s enforcer. He is obsessed with Ariadne and will do anything to have her.

Well written, keeps you engaged. It’s pretty spicy, only recommend if you’re into the not so vanilla sex.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶 Review: I'm honestly shocked why this book isn't well liked. The couple Minotaur and Ariadne are not my favorite couple out of them all they still i feel like we're a necessary couple for the story line. Even if this wasn't the spicest book or the most character developed one compared to the others I still liked it because the story line had me sitting on the edge of my seat! Dionysus was a fun addition to this mix and I loved seeing his character with the compassion I've always known his character to contain. This book was def more plot based >>> character based but I enjoyed it regardless because it was shorter and kept moving along to the mouth dropping ending! I'm excited for the next book and cannot wait to not only see what couple is next but what happens now that the war has come.

Not my favorite book in this series. Not my favorite couple even though I was rooting for Ariadne and Asterion. But it was a lonnnng wait for this book and I expected more.

Katee Robert could write a book about literally anything, and I would read it. This is a continuation of the Dark Olympus series. After the last chapter teaser in Midnight Ruin, I knew this was going to be good! Ariadne went through some hard things in the last book, and this picked up from that while also giving insight into her and the Minotaur’s past. I really felt for both main characters throughout the story. They grew up in unfortunate circumstances and everyone around them continually used them as pawns for personal gain. Seeing them learn to communicate with each other and take charge of their lives was refreshing. They experienced a large amount of personal growth. I hope we get an update on Ariadne and the Minotaur in the next installment. Icarus and Daddy Poseidon’s story can’t come soon enough! The plot continuation was captivating as always, and I can't wait to see what’s going to happen after that last major event!

The Olympus series continues….Ariadne has turned on her father by revealing secrets to the Olympians. In an effort to safeguard her, they decide she should marry a member of the Thirteen - specifically Dionysus. An arranged marriage with a contract which gifts her certain “liberties”. Minotaur/Asterion has been in love with Ariadne for decades. She was supposed to be his prize when he fulfilled her father’s goals…but they seem further away than possible nowadays. Lots of action packed and steamy scenes between Ariadne and Asterion❣️I’m looking forward to seeing what happens to Ariadne’s brother Icarus next😳

It’s spicy and a great story. It has some twists to keep your interest. A great addition to the collection.

I LOVE this series of books, I found the story engaging and can’t wait for the next one. I don’t want to leave any spoilers. I read it in one sitting as it’s a slightly shorter book than previous in the series. My one sad point is for people like me who collect whole series’ of books, why is this book a smaller book page height size? It is a shame the book isn’t the slightly larger height size like the others so the collection would line up on the book shelf perfectly, just me and my ocd playing up 🤣 I guess I’m going to have to pay for all the other books in the smaller size now! If Amazon did a discount for people who had purchased the previous larger books that would be nice 😉

These books and this series are such a lovely dose of fun, fresh escapism! Are they sometimes a little silly? Yes. Do I believe that that is largely the point? Also yes. Katee Roberts writes it and I will read it. Simple.

Love the writing style,and the characters. I'll reread this series again and again but don't want to wait for the next book, its too long a wait...
