72 Colored Pencils Set for Adults with 3-Color Coloring Book & Case

Got these for my daughter and she has been really happy with them. The color selection is big enough that she can usually find the shade she wants, and the pencils work well for regular coloring pages, little art projects, and just sitting at the table drawing for a while. The case is honestly one of the better parts of the set. A lot of kids art supplies look nice when you first open them and then immediately turn into a drawer full of loose pencils, but this keeps everything together. She can see the colors, pull out what she wants, and put them back without it becoming a mess. This feels like a complete gift set rather than just a pile of colored pencils. Easy to use, easy to put away, and nice enough that it actually feels a little special. Five stars from me because she likes using it and I like that it stays organized.

These pencils are great and they sharpen well. Love having so many colors to choose from. I’ve been using them on black background pages and they’re beautiful. They’re very easy to use and feel they will last a long time based on how much I’ve already used them. For me, they are worth the money. Would definitely recommend. UPDATE: I paid $23 for these when I purchased them for myself. I was going to buy them for my granddaughter for a Christmas present since she loves to color. It now sells for $39.99! This is absolutely atrocious. I am changing my recommendation to NOT BUT because $40 is absolutely ridiculous for this. Yes, they’re good pencils and I enjoy using them but not $40 worth. I will give my granddaughter my set.

The H & B 72-Color Colored Pencils set was a great purchase! The pencils come in a beautiful assortment of vibrant colors, all neatly organized in a compact zippered case. My family had a wonderful time coloring and spending quality time together during our long flight. The set also includes a pencil sharpener and eraser, making it a convenient all-in-one kit. I highly recommend it for travel, family activities, or anyone who enjoys coloring.

These pencils in the case are perfect for coloring or drawing. If your used to prismacolor pencils, these won't be quite as buttery, but they are definitely deep colored and smooth blending. Better than Crayola. I love the fact that the case comes with a little pencil sharpener and eraser. This is one thing my previous pencil case lacked the storage space for, in case I wanted to travel lite with the pencils and have everything else I needed. On a budget, and wanting quality, these are a good buy.

I recently purchased the H & B 72 Colored Pencils Set and I’m very impressed with the quality and variety of colors. The pencils are smooth, easy to blend, and provide vibrant colors that are great for drawing, coloring books, and creative projects. The large selection of shades gives you plenty of options for creating detailed artwork. The pencils feel comfortable to hold, sharpen well, and the case makes it easy to keep everything organized.

The array of colors is a very welcome change to some products I have tried in the past. My mother was a Commerical Artist and I learned from watching her and accompanying her to art supply stores the value of oil pigment products opposed to the wax type. I can't wait to be able to order the larger set next month as a Birthday present to myself, even though the information states that it will take up to two months before it is shipped to me. It will be worth the wait I assure you. Any one who is looking for quality art colors for whatever project you have can not go wrong in buying any one of these sets of artist pencils, be it the 72 count, the 120 count (which is the first one I got) or the largest one, the 180 count, which I actually am chopping at the bit to get my hands on. The feel is smooth and comfortable in your hand, which is awesome for me since I had surgery on my hand and am finally able to hold a pen or pencil again without difficulty. The coverage of the color itself in also very very good, it is easy to blend the colors to creat depth in your artwork, and I am pleased to see that the sharpener that is included with the set is solid metal and of the same quality and design as the ones I used to be able to get from the art supply store I used back home in Arlington, Texas. When the blade needs to be replaced, it should not be too difficult to locate a supply of new blades to change it out. The small coloring book that comes with the pencil set is nice, but seems more suited to micro-point and wide tip makers instead of the colored pencils, but that's just my feeling. I recommend this product, no matter which count you pick, to anyone looking to try a new hobby, replenish your supp'y or need a gift for any occassion or person.

This is the second time that I have purchased this set. The first one was lost, but my daughter loved it so much I had to replace it. She had had it for a year and took immaculate care of it (she's 9 y.o.) and used it all the time. She's learned to blend colors and loves the colors available in this set. They are a fantastic quality and beautiful colors. I would highly recommend them! The pencils stay in the pouch as well and fit well for good storage. Great value!
