I have a 100 light strand for ambient light in my bedroom. I left it on during xmas away one year and half the bulbs blacked out while I was gone.These bulbs have a different base shape than my sockets, so I have to remove the old light & square base, remove the new round base, line up the tiny leads into the old, stripped square base, bend the lead wires back up and insert. I did the whole hundred and, when used intermittently (instead of staying on for 2 weeks straight), they lasted ~2 years. I bought more when the replacements failed and replaced the first 50 so far & hope that helps the back 50 go a little longer. It’s more tedius than I usually like, but solving it feels satisfying and it’s still $20-$30 cheaper then the replacement cord. So far so good.If, by some miracle, the bases were the same shape I could add a star. But these seemed to be the best economical option. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to replace but only lasted just over a year *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2020* I purchased these bulbs to replace burned out bulbs in a white string of lights. They fit correctly and were easy to replace. However, I bought them in November of 2018, and as of January 2020, the entire string has now burned out again. It happened gradually, so the replacement bulbs only lasted me about 12 months. I use the string every day for maybe 2 hours to provide light in a dark corner, and then unplug it. I would have preferred if they lasted longer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much easier than replacing individual bulbs *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2019* My patio is decorated year-round with two strands of white icicle lights. Until buying these replacements, I would go through the task of unthreading the old burned out bulb and re-threading the wires of a new bulb. (Yes, OK, that is a first-world problem.)
