I would recommend different coloring tools for the paper — but the steps are pretty self explanatory and easy to follow for both parent and child.. the plastic that you use to push down and make everything stick does feel kind of cheap and flimsy but has held up.. my daughter and I were making the stickers for the 8 yr old boy and 7 year old girl and they loved em!! Can’t get em wet bc the colored part is not covered.. I think it’s a great gift for those who love crafting, or your having a friend bday party and need a craft idea!
