Review: Pricey but worth it if you want proper waffles. - Very good waffle maker. Quite heavy but seem reliable and good quality. Waffles comes super nice crunchy and setting options are very handy so you can adjust it to your liking. Non stick! you don't need any fat at all or just a bit. Also I like the dripping tray around it so it stay nice and clean. Very easy to clean just wipe, no necessity scrubbing etc. Pricey but worth it if you want proper waffles. Review: Very powerful gadget for tasty waffles - Only had it for 10 days, used about 4 times for few batches of classic waffles from the enclosed booklet. Cannot obviously comment on longevity, but more on power and functionality. It is a powerful machine at 1600 W. Prior to this we had SALTER waffle maker, which was only 900 W and it required turning over the waffles with tongs to make sure they were even. After 7 years of serving us the old machine stopped being non-stick and we had to throw it away as nothing helped. So I knew I need something at least 1000 W or more and after few months of research came across this one. Pros: -very powerful, heats top and bottom, waffles are browned evenly, no need to turn - due to the enclosed measuring cup it was easy to work out what amount to use to prevent overspill. I only used it once to compare with my silicone spoon I mix the dough with and convert the measurements as silicone spoon is easier to pour from and to clean afterwards - it does lock like the other machine we had so the steam and gasses escape through side when the dough is raising. It is much better than with the other machine, which was locked for the cooking process and I had to open it momentarily to let the steam out Cons: - it is fairly heavy so a bit tricky if you need to store it in the tall cabinet like ## Features - NON-STICK PLATES: Our high performance non-stick plates make sure your waffles come out light, fluffy, and perfectly golden. No more worrying about burnt waffles or tough cleaning. - 7 BROWNING LEVELS: With the 7 adjustable browning settings, you can make the waffles as soft or as crispy as desired. Customise your waffles to suit your taste! - 5 PROGRAMMES: Discover endless waffle options with 5 different programs – choose from Belgian, classic, chocolate, buttermilk waffles, and even create your own waffle style. Plus the innovative double heating elements cook your waffles evenly, inside and out. Select your desired texture; whether you like the interior soft and outside crispy or crispy and baked all-through the Pro Smart Waffle Maker lets you do it all. - LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY: The easy to read and use lcd digital panel makes it easy to cook waffles exactly as you would like them. Choose the right program for your desired result. - OVERFLOW PROTECTION: Don’t worry about spills! The Pro Smart Waffle Maker has an overflow channel will catch surplus batter – for mess free waffles! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B0CLH8FTC9 | | Best Sellers Rank | 42,501 in Home & Kitchen (See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen) 20 in Waffle Makers & Irons | | Brand | Hamilton Beach | | Colour | Silver | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (149) 4.5 out of 5 stars | | Date First Available | 20 Oct. 2023 | | Guaranteed Software Updates Until | unknown | | Item Weight | 4 kg | | Material | Metal | | Model Number | HB5403T | | Power Wattage | 1600 watts | | Product Dimensions | 31.4 x 27.9 x 15.3 cm; 4 kg | | Special Features | Overflow Protection | | Voltage | 240 Volts | ## Images ![Hamilton Beach Waffle Maker, Pro, Smart, Non-Stick, 7 Browning Levels, 5 Programmes, Family Size, Digital Display, Overflow Protection, Silver - HB5403T - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71zSs4+aAVL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pricey but worth it if you want proper waffles. *by A***R on 9 February 2026* Very good waffle maker.
