## Description

The USRobotics Power over Ethernet (PoE) Kit provides an easy way to power the USR5450 Wireless Turbo Access Point, without adding an additional electrical outlet. Often the best locations for access points to provide optimal coverage for a given wireless implementation are in diffi cult to reach areas, with no obvious need for electrical outlets. Using the PoE Kit allows access points to be placed up to 300 feet away from an electrical outlet, using the Cat 5 Ethernet cable to carry both the data signals and electrical power.Improved Wireless Network Design Flexibility- Position access points anywhere in your building by providing power to the access point using the data cable. - Ideal for extending wireless networks to larger rooms, buildings and warehouses. Simple to Install- Simply plug in Power Over Ethernet Injector, connect to Ethernet cable, and plug in Power Over Ethernet Splitter.- No software required. CompatibilityCompatible with all wireless speeds supported by associated access point. Uses Existing Cabling- No special cabling required — works over standard Ethernet CAT 5 cabling.- Extend wireless networks up to 100 meters without adding electrical outlets.Other Characteristics: Certification: FCC Class B, CE Class BColour of product: BlackDimensions (WxDxH): 240 x 191 x 67 mmI/O ports: PoE Injector:\n2x 10/100Base-TX (RJ-45)\n1x Power 48VDC (female)\nPoE Splitter:\n2x 10/100Base-TX (RJ-45)\n1x Power 5VDC (male)Output voltage: 5 VWeight: 540 g
