I purchased the CZC AUTO 2 piece license plate light to add a small console light to my old tractor's gauge console. I needed something small, not too bright, and a light that would cast down. It was a bit difficult finding a light that would work until I came across these license plate lights. The console originally had a small light but that was gone long before I purchased the tractor. When I looked to replace it, a single, simple light with an incandescent bulb - sold for older tractors - cost just over $30. These CZC lights fit the small hole for the console light (I actually added a washer to keep the light in) and provides the low intensity, down cast illumination I wanted... and I got 2 for under $8.00. I don't know how long these will last but expect at least a few years use out of each. At least in my case, the light is very easy to install.

I used these on my pickup truck that is 25 years old. Drilled holes in the bumper, used the old wiring and had good luck. Better and easier that i expected.

Useful. Used on a trailer for the license plate. Also for the utility box for lighting. Good product, affordable item.

These LED license plate lights are bright and make the plate easy to see at night. The aluminum housing feels sturdy and holds up well in rain. Installation is simple, and they fit perfectly on both bikes and vehicles. A clean, reliable upgrade that works exactly as expected.

The lights work great and perfectly lights up the plate underneath. Compared to the outdated original , these are way better and directional allowing for a crisscross lighting pattern.

Bright enough to be within the law. Installs easily though you should replace the plain washer with a star or split lock washer since it can only be tightened finger tight. Fits all license plate hole sizes. The included pigtails are very thin, probably only 22ga. So care must be taken how it's routed and connected. I recommend heat shrink connectors and being careful not to pinch or cut the wires. Speaking of connections, think about how you might have to disconnect the wires to change the plate - don't use these to secure the plate without adding a quick disconnect to each light; otherwise you are likely to break the thin wires or have to unsolder them.

Great for trailers, and motorcycles, nice and bright

They are well made and solid. Easy to install. If you look at my installation- I made 2 holes on the plate itself passed the wires behind the plate and through the car hatch. Then I wired it to the fuse box in which allows the lights to be on only when the car motor/ ignition is on. Looks neat and bright. Fiat wanted 300$+ to change the whole trunk lid because they do not sell only the lights for my 2012 Fiat 500. This solved all my issues and it was low cost and just a little work. Would recommend.

Bought in 2022, work great but the wires are super thin. They broke a few times, and I had to cut and strip them to reattach them. Now wire is to short so I need to buy new lights...But for the price it's decent.

They are nice and bright. Although I wish they were a bit dimmer/weaker and I wish it was a tad warmer in color but it'll do. UPDATE (May 31 2026). I ended up wiring the two LEDs in series and that made them dimmer which is perfect! Honestly, these LEDs should be hooked up in series, not parallel so they're super bright!
