How will this work if I only have 1 volume and 1 tone knob with this system work if I only use two of the pots?

Yes it will Look on the EMG websight. It also showed it in the directions/diagrams I got with the harness kit.

What selector switch will go well with this?

EMG makes a 3 way solderless 3 way Gibson type toggle and they make a solderless 3 and a 5 way Fender type toggle switch. They sell them right here on Amazon. They’re about $30. They’ve even got a solderless momentary kill switch that works great for that machine gun sound. Me I just built a fender esquire. It has a 4 hole Tele plate. Volume/Tone/EMG SPC/EMG PA2 Toggle Afterburner. I can get any sound I want out of that single EMG tele pickup. I may do all my esquires like that. Hope that helped.
