I had gone through many piercing devices, and even at the highest setting occasionally they fail to get a blood draw. I also have to separately purchase the lancets singularly to use with the Lansing device. I finally decided to give these a try and it was the best decision I've made recently. They are safely sterile until they're open for use, they seem to be well made and they do produce a blood draw with minimal pain. I will not go back to ever using the alternate system again. My fingers were getting very sensitive with the previous way of getting a blood draw and now they're healing because although these work efficiently, somehow they are less painful.
