Great for working the smaller areas.
Have you ever used the tip of your big iron to get to the hard to reach places only to find out that you ironed in some wrinkles with the back of the iron? Frustrating. I use this for the tight places. Actually I do the whole shirt with it. It is a little small for the larger areas but that's okay. It gets plenty hot but doesn't burn the clothes. I don't know about the steam part because I prefer to use a spray mister. I like that it has a long cord. This will also make a great travel iron.

Great for quilting
Great little Iron for quilting. I had it for 10months and it quit working. Called the company and they are sending me a new one. Hope this one lasts longer, but I am still very happy with it......well, here we are 10months after the replacement, and its now throwing a breaker as soon as its plugged in. So I guess as a quick travel iron its great. I love it for the sewing room, but I guess that means I need to spend $40 a year. Not a long lasting product.
