Gas Cap Opener

Wife has bad RA and can’t open a gas cap. This works great. We have one in every car.

Gas Cap & Oil Cap Opener for cars and trucks --- Does NOT open or close my 2007 Toyota Sequoia SUV gas cap. Vehicle Technicians did replace the 2007 Toyota Sequoia gas cap with an easier gas cap because when you do not close the gas cap correctly the check engine light, brakes, VSC, etc. light up! Old gas cap or replaced gas cap, I still do not have the hand grip to twist the gas cap closed. Durable material and well made, that is why the four stars. Minus one star because it won't open or close my gas cap.

I was literally bored & scrolling i like to have my nails done and they be long and i noticed i struggle to get my gas cap open (Jeep Patriot) it’s kinda deep & up in there so i typed gas can opener and this popped up! I LOVE IT! Brilliant!!!!!!!! Made my life so much easier

Can't use this on my nissan altima. Just doesn't work. I got it because of arthirtis in my hands. I had my husband try it and he could not get it to work either, he then got in his tool box and got a pair of pliers. They work just fine, should have tried that first.

I bought this because I had a new cap installed and was having a hard time undoing it because of RA. It works ok if slots are lined up,but, if not, it is hard to angle because of cover. I think if handle was straight out middle, it would have been fine. I traveled almost 1500 hundred miles and it took awhile to get used to it, but, I am still using it after 2 months.

My mother has arthritis and can't grip the gas cap on her Honda Accord. The head on this tool fits the raised part of the cap and grips it. The lever is long enough to torque down and unscrew the cap; it works sort of like a box end wrench. Mom's not Scarlett O'Hara anymore-she doesn't have to rely on the kindness of strangers to unscrew her gas cap when she is at the pump.

I bought this for a woman with RA and weak hands. She has had too many issues not putting the gas cap back in place, which then creates a problem with the engine light having to be reset.It was intended to be used on a 2004 Suzuki. It just barely works. The slots are too wide, and no means to prevent the wrench from slipping off, or worse, your hand being injured as it does so.I also tried this on a 2003 Lexus. It could not be used for that application.I will try the other wrench offered here on Amazon.
