I cannot figure our how to manually set the time, I do the steps stated underneath but it 1 doesn't have a year and it only let's me change the alarm

Push the snooze button for 6 seconds. Year will pop up. Turn knob to adjust if needed. Push in round knob ( not the snooze button) when you have the year you want. Then push snooze again for the next thing to set and so on....
